From reading about players...Sounds like Maxwell Hairston might be a CB target for us. There's a physical slot WR, Restrepo, that apparently had a really good day.

Edges were up and down. Prince was apparently poor. Green was hit and miss, same with Stewart.

For OT's, Conerly flashed a lot but gave up inside stuff a little. Ersery was pretty good.

We've got a lot of options on late 1st to 2nd.

I'm from AZ and love Cam Skattebo. I have watched him play a lot and i just don't feel his skillset will translate to the NFL. His heart and determination will for sure, but i just think he is to slow and cumbersome to carve a big role. I think he will be limited as a short yardage banger.
 
Yeah Cam's 4.62 40 time is a bit spooky. I get a bit of a "kid born in September dominates kids born in April in 3rd grade PE" kind of vibes. Just everything at the NFL level is so much harder.

Jackson is interesting. Several off the field problems over the years. It was a shock he went undrafted despite starting at LT for 4 years at Iowa. Good player but I can see them avoiding him due to character issues

I’m also in AZ and my son is a freshman at ASU.

Fully agree! I think he can carve out a valuable role on an NFL roster as a core special teams guy and short yardage specialist. He could play some full back as well maybe and he’d be dangerous around the goal line and in short yardage as a receiver off play action from that FB spot.

But I think his lack of speed will limit his ability to be a starting back.
 
Sounds like Edge rushers rebounded on Day 2. There's a 280-285 pound Day 2 edge rusher that has everyone excited. Someone who can set the Edge in the run game and be a decent pass rusher is what the doctor ordered.
 
Another Senior Bowl, another NDS Olineman on the move up draft boards. Many of the other OL not doing themselves any favors.

OT Grey Zabel, North Dakota State

Zabel followed up a stellar Day 1 with a repeat performance on Day 2, showing outstanding body control with tight, active and strong hands to keep defenders in front of him, mirror and stay attached throughout reps.

Once Zabel got his hands on rushers and defenders in the run game, the rep was over during both days of practice. He did lose his first rep clean Wednesday in one-on-ones against FSU's Joshua Farmer, who slipped underneath his outside strike to win the corner.

Otherwise, there simply wasn't another decisive loss on his film during the first two days of practice.

I've also heard that Zabel has aced his interviews, and I believe he should be viewed as a lock to be drafted within the draft's first 40 picks, with a good shot to crack the first round


 
Shermar Stewart reads off as a prototypical DE--"rare combination of size, speed, and explosiveness is something unique even in today’s game where herculean athletes pop up every draft class"

However, he has 4.5 sacks across 3 college seasons. Not exactly eye-popping numbers. Has anyone with such paltry production ever produced in the pros (alliteration aside)?

I fear he may be another one of those "Looks like Tarzan plays like Jane" workout warriors. Mind you, I know nothing about the guy other than what you just posted.
 
Agreed, there's a lot of those type players this year, borderline guys. This Senior Bowl does not have the talent we were seeing over the past few years.

Depends on how much it costs. I really don't think WR is a primary need. At least not if Daniels is really in the Lamar/Allen/Mahomes tier like he appears he might be.

Yeah we have a bunch of needs: OL, DL, CB, WR...I wouldn't break the bank for Wilson. I am not sure where the DK Metcalf rumors came from, I just happened to see them floating about the Twitterverse
