Winter Weather Forecast/Thread, 2013-2014

Sorry, kids.

The high today in East Rutherford could hit 50 and then it will drop. Look for game time temps to be at around 47 degrees and it should drop to the mid thirties by the end of the fourth quarter. There is a chance of snow and freezing rain, but not until after midnight, so the game will be dry.

Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow this morning and this means more winter weather is on the way for several more weeks.

Everything here is covered in ice and it is still coming down. Third straight day of this stuff. Can't even open the car door.

Our weather is….

Nevermind. You don't want to know.

It was so cold in San Diego these past few days that I had to start a fire. We just dont know what to do once it gets below 60!

You really need to shut up. :)

I wish ice upon you all

Well, thanks. The winter storm warning is now extended until midnight and another half inch of ice is expected. Flat out getting socked. Sure would be better if it was snow.

Haha, not you! The ones mocking us with their warm weather :)

I know. Just wanted to rant. Had to run up to the pet store and get Ricky some food. Slid a bit here and there - saw several accidents. Ice is wicked and it is going to get worse.

The snow is just starting here, we are supposed to get 8-12" tonight and in the morning, then Thursday the temps are supposed to drop in the negatives again.

To those who have escaped the clutches of winter- Welcome!

To those who are still shoveling snow & ice-filled sidewalks- What are you waiting for?

Paradise awaits.

Expecting about two inches of snow tonight and early morning. Down here, that means everything will be closed tomorrow.

NorCal is fiiiinally receiving much needed rain and snow. I would prefer snow at my elevation, but I'll take whatever moisture we can get out here. It's been dry as a bone and we've already had fire restrictions in January. Moisture expected in the week to come as well :)

This is really going to help many areas up there, but SoCal misses out on this system. Good to see the rain and snow where it is needed. Some parts of the Sierra Nevada could see upwards of five feet of snow.

Yeah, it stinks that SoCal is not getting the moisture. But, since they suck dry all our water resources for their needs, they're in luck we're getting hit

This system is potent and should start to affect Memphis and the mid south on Monday and Tuesday. Winter Storm Watch is up for both days and we are expecting five to ten inches of sleet - yes, sleet. This is going to be devastating for us.

It is snowing here now, we have about an inch, and are expecting another 2-4" tonight. Or as we call it a dusting lol
