He tested positive 10 times over two months. That doesn't mean he was smoking every day for 2 months - it could have been one time that stayed in his system. You guys are making him out to be this rastafari reefer-fanatic, when he might have just slipped up at a party or something during the lockout, when he wasn't being tested.
EDIT: And he his play hasn't been worthy of the #4 overall pick just yet, but then again he hasn't been Winston Justice giving up 6 sacks in one game bad either.
Bam!!!End of discussion. My concern has little to do with Marijuana, it has to do with his poor judgment. After he failed some tests, he had to have been told repeat offenses would result in suspension, and... he did it anyway? That's incredibly poor judgment, imo. Not indicative of someone I want protecting our big investment's blind side.
Right now? Today? In a heartbeat.soooooo......what about trading TW for a number 1 next year? put aside the matter of finding a willing partner....would anyone go for this?
lol....no doubt sitting at home playing video games will make baking it up all that much more tempting. That realredskins article reeks of a typical media beat-up.
We're kept in the dark about what the question TW answered "nah" to actually was, so all we're really going on is a craftily worded article designed to strike fear into us fans that the "future of the franchise" is precariously held in the spliff-rolling hands of some blasé stoner kid who refuses to change his ways.
Not only that, it's also pretty clear that Rich Tandler is highly ignorant about weed smoking:
"...it would be nice if Williams stayed home and watched TV and played video games every night."
Sitting at home on the Playstation?!? That's THE LAST place we want him!
lol....no doubt sitting at home playing video games will make baking it up all that much more tempting.
Count me among the folks who say you don't need to change your lifestyle to quit smoking dope. You can't go out to clubs and do it so it's not like quitting drinking where you really would need to make major changes if your a "partier". With weed, ya just quit...period. The only lifestyle change is his day being more filled with productivity and less munchies. Smoking weed doesn't necessarily mean hard core party lifestyle. I know more than a few professionals who are Docs, engineers along with some world class triathletes who smoke daily with no adverse effects to their lives whatsoever.
Oh and weed doesn't stay in your system for 2 months, so if he got busted ten times over two months he was smoking the whole time essentially. It was amazingly stupid and he doesn't deserve to be cut any benefit of the doubt type slack. The only thing that rivals that kind of drug test stupidity is Adams getting busted at the freakin Combine this year. Now THAT requires a serious gift in the dumbass department.
What's the number there? I'll leave the answer for you with the receptionist.Don't want to Google it at work though, lol.
Hah!:munching_out:What's the number there? I'll leave the answer for you with the receptionist.
The football players I knew who always took the tests would smoke up to a week before hand. If they do a hair test then maybe but urine...I'm almost positive, unless things have changed dramatically with testing, that it's gone in a week or two.
You haven't joined any rooms.
