What's the BEST Western You've Ever Seen?

I never thought Young Guns was a great western, but Emilio Estevez is the greatest Billy the Kid ever...
imo, audie murphy, paul newman and val kilmer were better. val,s in gore vidai,s billy the kid,the other 2 in early roles in their careers.

I liked the original 1960 version of the Magnificent 7 better than the 2016 version. Both movies had great actors but I prefer the original

Tim blake Nelson was pretty good too.

Old henry hasn't been mentioned yet, probably too new but it was a good flick.

I can’t quit you Halcyon ❤️

I'm loving the selections so far. One I haven't seen mentioned: Winchester '73.

" Best " is tough.
Outlaw Josey Wales would certainly be up there.
One of my favorites is Pat Garret & Billy the Kid. James Coburn, Jason Robards, Slim Pickens, Harry Dean Stanton, Bruce Dern, Kris Kristofferson and a cameo and soundtrack by Bob Dylan.

If your talking even more old school, I'd have to go with Ox Bow Incident. Excellent movie about mob or herd mentality.
I see where Eastwood has said it's his favorite movie.
