Let's get the nominations going, and we will post a poll with the finalists. You can nominate as many as you want, but please make each movie a separate post. If you like a nomination, hit with a like so we can determine top 10 later.

Can be classic westerns all the way up to modern ones.

Seriously though, I'm not a huge western fan, my favorites have already been brought up.

One that I think is very underrated though is Quigly down under.

Thought that was one of Sellecks best.

Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.
Great ending!

good, the bad and the ugly or high plains drifter.never saw a bad john wayne or eastwood western either.once upon a time in the west with bronson was great too.

To add for consideration to some of the above

Django
Dances with Wolves
The Revenant
Open Range
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
The Magnificent 7
True Grit

I am sure I can think of some more. Pick em as you like. Not making 7 posts. :(

blazing saddles and young frankenstein are the best comedies ever made.saw both at the theater.
Big fan of Mel Brooks work, those two and Spaceballs are my favs. While Blazing Saddles was a comedy, it feels like it belongs in the western label as well

Quigley is great - that was one of my Dad's favorite movies.
