We are finishing up Banshee. Good cast, action-packed, and a considerable amount of soft porn. šŸ˜‰

Binge watched the first 2 seasons of 'After Life', Ricky Gervais series about a small town British newspaper reporter who struggles to carry on after his beloved wife dies. It's got a little of the same feel as 'Ghost Town' (if you've seen that movie). Bittersweet but worth a watch.
Certainly a different type of role for Gervais. Too much of a downer for me.

It is definitely bittersweet. One thing I like about it is that his grief is ongoing... he has good days and bad. They don't resort to cutesy 'solutions' to it. It's a process, as is the series. The last episode of Season 2, he's on the verge of suicide, until a knock on the door, which may change everything.

Started High Town on Starz...looks like it can be good. First episode was pretty good.

Boone, tried to start the Last Kingdom...after alerting everyone about it, I cannot watch it.

Watched the first season of 'Upload' on the recommendation of Brother Om. Very interesting. And worth a watch if only for the lovely Andy Allo. Wow.

OK, gave a show a try that I normally wouldn't. It is from the creators of Gomorrah, which I was unable to watch because it's an Italian Crime show with subtitles.

Zero Zero Zero

However, I gave this one a shot because it is not solely based in Italy. It's about a drug shipment as it travels from Mexico to Italy by an American shipping company with storylines from characters from each country as this shipment travels the world.

It's pretty good. I have watched 7 of the 8 episodes, and will watch the finale tonight before I go to bed.

First episode of Yellowstone down...

WOW!

You mean of the new season or the series Mike?

sorry, new season started on Sunday. SO damn good!

I am waiting...I want to watch season 2 again before I watch season 3 so I am going to accumulate several episodes before I start season 3.

Please put a spoiler alert up if you talk about any episodes.

So I sat down to watch the latest episode of Billions after watching the 1st 7 episodes of the new season.

They gave no indication until the week of the supposed airing of episode 8 that production was halted due to the Corona Virus. I would have just waited. they are calling it a mid-season break. Ugh!

I have been continuing with the series on Starz called High Town. Again, another drug dealing, murder show. It is based on the Cape in Massachusetts, so it is a liberal toned show, but entertaining nonetheless. I am able to overlook the subtle inferences.

There are spoiler tags you can use in the reply toolbar for any post.

Use this one if you want to 'title' your post with a hint about what it's about.

You can also simply use the 'Inline Spoiler' option which just blurs out what you don't want shown (like in a middle of a post) and you don't see it unless you click on it.
This is the 'Inline Spoiler' option which is also some exciting shit

There is a new documentary on Netflix called American Murder: The Family Next Door which is about the murder of pregnant wife Shanann Watts and her two young daughters by her husband Chris Watts. Beyond the horrific facts of the case, the documentary is of interest because of how modern technology allows you to almost literally see the events as they unfold. Between law enforcement video, Ring doorbell footage, text message records, phone call recordings, and social media posts, pics, and videos, it's like you are literally there watching this insanity go down.

It's a rough watch. But wow - it really struck me how much of our lives, even when we may be engaged in things we want no one to know about, is being captured and recorded.

Yup...this was a very disturbing series. Anyone who could commit the acts that man did, is pure evil.

I finally dove into Peaky Blinders! At first I couldn't watch because I could not understand the dialect. I turned on the closed caption to help, and it did...greatly!

I just finished season 4 of 5. I like it a lot! I also like the shortness of the seasons, 6 episodes each. Sometimes you just don't need 10-13 episodes to develop a season long plot line, as witnessed by the Walking Dead.

Yeah Peaky Blinders is damn good, started that last week as well. Solid cast and wardrobe is on point for a period show
