Documents aren't being shared and supposedly there was never a written report supported to the NFL.
 
It would appear we've reached the "he's not shutting up, destroy his credibility" phase

As expected, the Republicans have taken sides. They are backing Dan Snyder. At the original hearings, they assured Snyder that all this will end if Republicans take the House. In the latest reported news, a ranking Republican is calling the Congressional investigation a farce and a waste of time and want Friedman referred to Justice. I mean what's a little sexual harassment and a bit of fraud?

Law enforcement has been using less than reputable people with inside knowledge for as long as there have been law enforcement. This is nothing new. Just because Freidman isn't a saint with a spotless record doesn't mean he isn't right about the money.
 
At best, Snyder’s defense here (assuming all the dirt on Friedman is factual - which is a big assumption) relies on the fact that they employed a sexual harasser and abuser for 24 years. That may help undermine the credibility of the financial allegations, but it absolutely would confirm the more damning allegations that Snyder hired, retained, and even promoted people that were horrible human beings and who participated in systemic sexual harassment of employees, doing nothing even when complaints were made. Friedman worked for Snyder for 24 years and was promoted to a VP position prior to finally being let go by Jason Wright.

NOW.... The Raiders fire their team president for saying the owner has created a 'hostile work environment...'

The NFL owners aint lookin great right now.

 
Congress has exempted itself from all workplace employment and compensation laws that apply to businesses the rest of us own, operate or work for.

And the real reason the NFL has not come down harder on Snyder from Day 1?

There are too many teams out there that may very well have similar workplace cultures going back years where this type of behavior was common.
 


And Goodell is protecting these guys...?
 
I heard that interview a few weeks ago. I was waiting for some proof of something good. It was just Jones and his stooge Snyder pissing and moaning about how they don’t like Goodell. Snyder ironically called him a drunk, which is rich considering the stories we have heard. I guess he’s been up in NY drinking with him. Unfortunately, nothing was said other than some complaints from owners mad at Goodell. Not even really enough for Goodell to go after Snyder. He won’t touch Jones no matter what.
 



IBIWISI at this point but the more stuff like this....
 
I'm still not getting my hopes too high, but for once the pressure is coming from the right place. From purely a football ownership standpoint, action will have to come from the league and the owners. I still think some of them are scared as they could their own skeletons to hide. But at the same time, they have to be looking at what is going on and seeing how the income from one of their previous top markets is now probably in the bottom 10 of income to the league. And that is what will make these guys take action.
