I was more into Simmons when I thought it was an ACL and not patellar tear.
Josh Conerly is intriguing, he does get beat bad from time to time. He needs more help, but maybe he could develop to fix his issues. Which usually comes from longer armed or quicker guys cutting from outside in and powering into his inside shoulder/chest. If he figures that out, then he'd be really good. But it's a big flaw that I'm sure NFL players would happily target with better skill than he's experienced.
I don't think Conerly is a Day 1 starter.

I personally am already factoring in the starting tackles (baring a training camp injury) are Coleman and Wiley.
So if a guy has to sit and develop and get worked in, I’m actually fine with that.
But they need to get some immediate help on the line SOMEWHERE to cover for the fact it’s likely Cosmi misses half or more than half of the season.
That help could probably be anywhere, either filling Cosmi’s spot directly or either tackle spot and Wiley bumps inside or at LG are Allegretti jumps over to the right side
But they need a starter. Either a rookie guard type guy or a day 1 tackle starter, which I don’t see them getting from anywhere anymore

Logan has another pod he does for the team that is way better. His producer on that show >>> Hoffman as a cohost. Humble guy who watches a lot of tape and provides a lot of great nuggets about prospects as well

I haven't watched Simmons, yet. Logan is far from alone about him being the best LT in the draft. Though his injury is concerning.
Conerly IMO has good potential, quick feet, but needs to beef up and get stronger IMO.
I like Donovan Jackson in that range, he might be there too in a trade down. Some say he's more of a guard. But he played decently at tackle for Simmons. I'd be happy with him.

I see MBow to the Eagles in a lot of drafts, which makes me want him at 29.
I'm out on Simmons at the pick, because of the injury, but maybe later.
I just think the starting OTs are going to fly up the board, because they're finite compared to some other positions.
WR and CB I think is where the talent is going to be for us at 29.

It's probably short term thinking because strength can be improved and all rookies have room to get stronger, but when going up against the DLines in the NFC East I think strength is a priority. Finesse lineman are going to get mauled.

Don't let the Senior Bowl reps dissuade you too much. JC IMO has the best feet of any OT followed by Banks. He's going high.

CBs I like outside of the 1rst that I think really fit our defense.
Porter, Burke (but could be a Juste clone), Parish, Amos.
I'd be cool taking Morrison, Revel or Barron at 29 if they're there. Doubt they make it to our 2nd.
If we sign a CB2 (which is a major need with how little Lattimore is healthy), I'd still draft a guy probably early and definitely late.

As to those meetings that Peters had I've watched some of both Mbow and Jack Nelson. Mbow is so squatty a tackle, sort of looks like bowling ball, feels more like a guard. Nelson was up and down in the game I watched, seems like maybe a servicable backup type.
lol, was listening to Finlay-Tishler both whom I like but Tishler's o line gurus tatus that other in the local media proclaim him to be is in doubt for me -- Finlay fishing for the name of the Oregon tackle in the draft on a podcast and goes i think is name is Cromwell. And Tishler goes yeah its Cromwell. Finlay though finally looked it up and said Conerly.

He has a good Senior Bowl but that one rep from Mike Green went viral so that got so much attention that it colored his performance by some but not most.
I know he hits 29 right now in many mocks but I'd be surprised if he's there. O lineman tend to go earlier than expected.
