Robinson is better receiving than he is given credit for. He's obviously not the traditional 3rd down back type - but he will thump a backer in pass pro and can do more than catch screens.

Agreed. In terms of a 3rd down back, I kind of expected we’d sign one of the backs we worked out to the PS and/or elevate Wiley.

Section 116 Row 8 - a glorious victory.

Few complaints of course but I wasn't thrilled to see us try to score? to close out the first half ball on our 12 with like 12 seconds to go. Luke took a big shot and someone else did as well... if you are thinking FG/TD there Kliff should have dialed up a deep loft fade. Yes I as still jaded from when Gibbs I gave USFL star Kelvin Bryant a meaningless up the gut run to close out a half many moon ago. And tore his knee up proper.

I think I can still name the starting lineups of the Gibbs glory year teams of my childhood. When I think Redskins I am seeing the Smurfs, the Posse, the Hogs, the Fun Bunch, Mann, Manley, Olkiewitz, Coleman, Butz, Marshall, and all the rest.

I don't know if I'll ever have the affection for a group as I did for the players who forged my fandom, but I'm willing to try.

I was talking to Gbear yesterday and he said before the game when he saw which officiating crew had been assigned the game that he knew we would get screwed. Apparently, this guy is on record as hating Washington. With such obvious bias and so much evidence of it, he and his crew should be banned from reffing all Washington games from now on.
