Nobody loves Sean more than I do. Nobody. But…

If any historical figure is going to have their name on the field/stadium/whatever it has to be Joe Gibbs.

Joe Gibbs is still alive which is why I would not do that I was thinking Joe Gibbs Stadium and Sean Taylor Field but decided to remove the Joe Gibbs part .

There will be a stadium naming rights deal at some point. It just makes too much sense.

Again, I love Sean. I also am not one who thinks that honoring someone has to wait until they are dead to do it. Especially in this context.

Gibbs has a concourse named after him. But I really don't like naming things after folks that are still alive. It's just my preference. Now giving awards absolutely need to be given away before folks die

Loved watching Sean but the way he's been exalted over guys who actually contributed to championships here is quite frankly, embarrassing.

Harris is a smart businessman and he can get $250-300M for the naming rights depending upon whether it transfers to a new stadium and that can pay for a lot of the items that Harris has to do to make up for things Snyder didn't do in terms of facilities, etc.

Honoring someone with awards, enshrinement into a HOF act are one thing. Naming a place, building, ship ect after someone still alive is weird to me.

Well the US Navy has a sub named after Jimmy Carter. And I could list more with a short search

Bobby Bowden- FSU’s Bobby Bowden Field
LaVell Edwards- BYU’s LaVell Edwards Stadium
Bill Snyder- Kansas State’s Bill Snyder Family Football Stadium
Eddie Robinson- Grambling State‘s Eddie Robinson Stadium

All were honored not only while alive but while they were still coaching.
