I've always hated that tipped balls count as INTs against the QB.
 
or play on stilts.
 
Speaking of Qbs and Howell:

Anyone listen to Sheehan when he talks about that subject? It's getting to the point it's hard to listen to him because he goes out of his way to knock Sam and literally jumps on anything negative written about him.
Sheehan's a Daniels guy and that's fine but to write off Howell after one season on a bad team? Doesn't seem right to me.

Whoever the QB they take this Spring, my hopes are that the staff makes it a true competition: may the best man win regardless of draft position.

IMO, it's the only way they get better.
 
A contrarian thought:

Washington has again ranked last in player satisfaction as it pertains to facilities, staff, etc. In fact, I think the Commanders got a failing grade in every category except the weight room or weight staff. Now, usually we all point to this and deride Snyder for failing to invest in the team and that may be so, but what if it also points to the fact that we have the NFL's most whiny, pampered players? Would it surprise anyone given all the player days off, the whining towards having to practice hard, and lack of overall effort if too many of our players were just soft malcontents?

I put it to you that the answer is "Both." The facilities are in need of an upgrade, but the players under Rivera are spoiled brats incapable of rolling up their sleeves and making things work. They are more interested in complaining than finding solutions or improving themselves. They're dissatisfaction is a byproduct of being pampered and lazy. I remember them once declaring they would run through a wall for Ron. Last year proved how hollow those words were. They wouldn't run to the market to buy Ron a pack of chewing gum not even if Ron spotted them the money plus a tip.

As a reminder, what were our objectives?

Highlight positive clubs – It is really important to highlight the teams that are doing things well and where players are happy. It makes a big difference when players go to work feeling supported by their club, and we want our members to know which clubs make players feel that way based on the responses from some who were at that club during this past year.

How millennial of them.
 
So that explanation gives me a chuckle. There are tons of improvements that need to be made to the practice facility and staff. I believe this was a huge miscalculation by Snyder to not see the value of having good facilities. We know the issues with the stadium, but players spend their lives at the team facility and being stuck in the 70s is not where they want to be. Other teams I’m sure have the same issues. But the comment of “we evaluate how players are made to feel”, get out of here with that stuff. The people that do these surveys have no clue.

Davis may face a suspension from the league.

This is another player I would not commit a lot of money to in the future unless he changes his tune, because to date he has only showed immaturity and a questionable football IQ on the field.

That is awesome. Compare that response to some of the more notable wives that have spoken out against teams their husbands played for (Kelly Stafford and Brenda Warner come to mind, but I know there have been others). Kudos to Jen Leno and the entire Leno family for how they are taking this. We could all learn a little bit of humility and grace from them.
 
I haven’t watched any of the combine yet but I will today. I’m very interested in seeing JJ McCarthy.
 
Joe Jacoby, Jim Lachey, Chris Samuels, Trent Williams.

I'd say all have a HOF argument. Pretty sad that the first one who is likely to get in will be Williams and chances are he will go in as a 49er,
 
SO naming off the stadium with FED EX gone. I think it should be called Sean Taylor Field. What do you all think
 
Don’t worry, it will be Nvidia Field or something like that - the naming rights $$ are too high for Harris to pass it up.

Those naming rights will finance the stadium repairs he plans to make.
