This is a team that we have been able to hang with for the most part when they have come to Washington over the years. Visiting GB and Lambeau Field has been a completely different story and we haven't won there in a really long time. Not only that, but just like the Baltimore Ravens own the preseason, Green Bay owns October historically. To make matters worse, Aaron Rodgers has the best all-time passer rating (104.8) in October. I have a bad feeling that after being held in check a week ago, Devante Adam's will be primed to have a big game vs. our very leaky secondary. Does the Washington coaching staff dare ask a rookie in St. Juste, who has arguably been our most consistent corner in 2021, to shadow him? Or are we going to depend on William Jackson to break out of his funk against a top 3 pass catcher in the NFL? Either scenario is a tall ask if you ask me.
Green Bay doesn't exactly have their trophy case overflowing, but man, they are the type of organization I hope we can re-establish ourselves into one day. Consistent, tough to beat at home, and a perennial playoff team/ divisional contender almost every single season.
