Let's Get Back Into Second Round

Wow! Do we go ahead and trade down again, there is still a lot of talent out there that shouldn't be.
 
Apparently we got an additional 7th rounder for the trade down.

That kid from Miami is the 1st draft pick in this draft from one of the big 3 in Florida...FSU, UM or UF.
 
I have quickly seen Leribeus as predicted to go in the seventh, and another said undrafted.

This might be a wtf? pick.

Other notes. Pulls very well - important in a ZBS. Has a very nasty streak about him.

I don't have an opinion yet on LeRibeus - but as to whether we could have had him in the 4th round - says WHO?
 
Maybe he coulda been had later on....but I'll tell you what, we just pick OL and that makes me happy. The Jags picked up a punter the pick prior.....now THAT would have been a WTF pick.
 
Stephenson just went to the Chiefs. Pretty sure that surprised the Redskins. Bet they thought he could go in the 4th.

Excellent-we need to scare the **** out of people sometimes.

No brutality...just stone cold fear. Enough to make 'em hesitant-take away decisiveness and get the first-move edge.
 
It appears Leribeus was 178 on Mayock's best player list.....meaning we picked him 100 too early.

I don't know much about him.....but that might be another Shanny wtf pick.

Positives: Tough, explosive blocker who's effective in motion. Gets his hands into defenders, keeps his feet moving and turns opponents off the line. Displays solid overall body strength, plays with good quickness and keeps his head on a swivel. Recognizes stunts or twists thrown by opponents and plays with awareness. Anchors at the point of attack and does not give up an inch to defenders. Fluid moving across the line of scrimmage, quick out to the second level and out-positions linebackers from the action.

Negatives: Occasionally late getting his hands into defenders. Lacks classic height for an interior blocker.

Analysis: LeRibus returned to form in 2011 and made scouts take notice with his exceptional play. He's a solid prospect with the ability to line up for a number of offensive systems in the NFL.
