Kliff other jobs?

I suspect that Kliff, as and when he decides to leave for a HC job, will be quite picky.

He's been a HC before, like DQ, and it wouldn't surprise me if he's had conversations with DQ about it. I think DQ was smart enough to a) self scout (this has been documented in a number of articles), and secondly I think he saw what was happening in Washington and knew it was a good spot to build a team. Or at least suspected it.

Kliff has now seen first hand the kind of organisation that breeds success. Is he simply going to chase the dollars and the title? Or, when the opportunity presents, is he going to look for the same hallmarks he currently sees here.

For all that Caleb WIlliams may be attractive at QB, does he view the Bears as an organisation he can actually create a winning culture with, like DQ has here?

Certainly in his position, that's what I'd be doing.

I've got that sweet Arizona money in my pockets, I've got a well run organisation on the rise, and I've got a QB who's looking to be an elite talent. The pointers are all gesturing towards a potential SB run in the future. A ring.
Do I give that up to go take a HC job right now?

I'm kind of with Boone on this one. I'm not sure he interviews at all this year. I think he sticks it out at least another year with Daniels to see how high this team can fly.

I hope so at least.

In addition, I suspect when Kliff is ready he will have conducted a whisper campaign to (tampering) to be sure he can assemble the team of coaches he feels he needs to win. As much as Kingsbury admires the structure and organizational prowess of Quinn, I bet he also sees the value of building the right staff. Too many coaches seem to rely on nepotism or just bringing along their buddies. Quinn did that, but he also brought in several coaches he had never worked with. Everyone credits him with assembling a top staff even if some worried there would be too many alpha egos or too many chiefs and not enough Indians.

He also is still being paid by Arizona through the 2026 season. He's getting paid like a head coach.

Pretty nice of the Bidwell family to pay our OC so well to put up 42 on them.
