Kliff other jobs?

I don't think its a matter of IF Kliff takes another HC, but when. I think he sees how DQ has handled things and where the chips fell in place for him and he will need to decide is he ready to try his hand at that again. He has been exposed to a standard that these teams are going to have to convince him they are ready to reach for. Great position to be in.

Yeah, I think they should make a HUGE push for him. I just think they are a dumpster fire when it comes to the structure of their upper management and ownership. Hopefully Kliff keeps to a strict 'draw the line' moment on what it would take to get him. But who knows, he may like shiny objects too much.

The trouble with the Bears is the management last year did what Snyder did here, go out and sign players with a name to play with Caleb.

But some of these guys are late career veterans who are past their primes.

Odunze and Kmet are good building blocks however.

I don’t see how Bears don’t hire him.
So far they have not even requested an interview - and they have set up a whole bunch of interviews. They have an interview scheduled with Vrable, have a request in for Ben Johnson and asked for permission to interview Mike McCarthy.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kliff isn't very high on CW after seeing some of the antics up close at USC. Also, CW made some highlight reel plays this year but had a lot of not so great stretches. Remember the first 3 quarters against us. That wasn't the only game he looked pretty bad.

Kliff is in a very nice situation right now. Working with Daniels must be fantastic, and I'm sure there's so much more he wants to do with Daniels and the offense, moving forward. I wouldn't be enthused about any of the current openings. From ownership and a shaky Poles, I'd steer clear of the Windy City. Baalke and Jax, no thanks! Kliff's still being paid 7 million simoleons/year by the dumb Cardinals. He's not looking for a big payday. I honestly don't think he'll entertain any overtures this off-season.

I think he ends up doing what DQ did. Maybe a review of his time in Arizona and plans of what he would do next time. But then also you have to wait for a situation that has ownership/gm that you trust to do things the right way. There has to be a positive synergy there in order to succeed at a high level.

He has a 3-year contract correct? I think he wants to take a shot at trying to get a ring and learn more about how to build an organization correctly. I think he stays here for another 2 years before he takes his next head coaching gig. He's got money so that's not a primary motivator.

On the money side he's still getting $7M a year through the end of 2025 from Arizona to not coach there.

When he said “at some point” I took that to mean yes, but not now.

Kliff worked with Caleb for a year. He literally hasn’t said boo about whether he would want to sign up to do that again. For all we know, Kliff thinks Caleb is a prima-donna, no talent ass clown and he'd prefer to dance the jive naked in the club level than have anything to do with him.

Or he might really like him.

We have absolutely no idea because he’s not saying.

But sometimes the dots don’t connect the way you think they would.

I think he will be here at least one and perhaps two more seasons since he is getting 5 mil from AZ for the next two years and that will go away if he gets a HQ job
Hes making more than DQ and I dont see a team backing up the brinks truck for him.

I guess opportunity at hc positions are few and far between, but if he thinks this team is moving on up..hes going to be interviewed every year

Kliff has done so much with an offense that is still talent deficient at several spots along the OL, WR, and to a lesser extent, RB.

Washington has money to burn this coming off season, and a solid collection of draft picks this coming April. There are ample opportunities to strengthen the overall quality of the offensive group. A part of Kliff has to be thinking that it would be pretty enticing to pair a 2nd year Daniels with that.

There certainly is the possibility that Kingsbury can get this offense to reach even higher levels and that can help him command even more money on the open market in another year if he stays patient for a bit.

It's risky, because from year to year, things can change quite quickly in the NFL, but the eventual payoff could be huge for Kingsbury.
