Kliff other jobs?

Has Kliff Kingsbury pledged an oath of loyalty to the franchise or not to mentor Daniels for 3-5 years?

Kliff is still second fiddle to Ben Johnson as far as coveted offensive HC candidates go this cycle. Given that he's collecting HC money from Arizona till 2027, better to stay with an ascending Daniels and Washington until you become the belle of the ball. You get your pick of situation, more money, more leverage in terms of staff and other things, make sure it's the right roster situation...

It's like a 1st/2nd rounder staying in school another year at a blue blood program, making a ton of NIL money, and trying to become the #1 overall pick in next year's draft.

I actually think Kliff is behind Liam Coen in the pecking order. He’s a McVay disciple who made Will Levis look like a top 10 pick in college and has taken Baker to another level,

He comes without the baggage of a prior HC record

Worth noting that he was on the cusp of becoming Chicago’s OC. Obviously Williams wasn’t in the fold then, though there’s stuff out there that they planned to draft him a while before pursuing Kliff…
That’s not exactly true. He was on the cusp of being the raiders OC. He interviewed for the Chicago job but according to reports he never really heard back from them. There is a theory they interviewed him to get his thoughts on Caleb more than a serious candidate for the job.

He was a serious candidate, and possibly offered the job, with the Raiders.

Kliff leaving (specifically to Chicago) might come down to whether the sample size he's seen from Caleb tells him that he's still an NFL franchise QB talent in search of a better system to run or if what he sees worries him about Caleb's chances to be something great in the NFL. Right now he is calling plays and designing schemes for a QB who looks destined for greatness and this is just him as a rookie surrounded by a roster still very much in transition. I've heard from OC's before in interviews that it really isn't until Year 3 of a QB/OC relationship that you see the full potential of an offense unlocked, so if you are Kliff, leaving JD after a single season is a big risk to his own career unless he feels he'd be saddling up to another potential superstar.

Glad you found your way over here.

It doesnt seem right that assistant coaches are interviewing for jobs as soon as we get to the playoffs.

Why does the league cater to all the loser teams desperate search for coaches, and disrupt the playoff teams most important week.

I hope I am not the only one wondering why this is allowed. Only teams that are eliminated should allow their coaches to go on job searches. The current job is not yet terminated. How is Jayden going to feel seeing Kliff going on interviews after being in the room with him at 4am every day for 4 months?

I can see it getting inside players heads. "Kliff is leaving.... sell out F him he is outta here" whatever lose confidence or trust. Or, the elephant in the room - a freaking distraction.

All these teams with openings aren’t run properly. I don’t think I’m too worried about Kliff going anywhere. I guess if I was Kliff, I’d seriously consider the Patriots. That’s the best run team with an opening right now. Jags, Jets, Bears, Raiders are all run like crap.
Kliff knows he has a really good thing going on here

More than just having the permission to do it or not I have always marveled at how the coordinators are even able to prepare for the interviews while also preparing for a playoff game.

It really depends. Snyder's interviews went like this:

Do you think you can win here?
Do you believe in more points than the other guy?
Would you play cards with me when Tanya isn't speaking to me? Only happens a few times a week.
Tell me how pretty I am?
You don't think I'm short, do you?

I’m willing to bet Kingsbury doesn’t interview this year. I think he knows how rare it is to be paired with a QB like Daniels and wants to see where he can go with it.

Good franchises get used to this happening every single year and it doesn’t jam them up. If we’re gonna be good we need to get used to it.

I am not sure anyone is going to look at our situation and assume that Kliff is the catalyst for our success. I think everyone still has a fear of the 'Kliff cliff' and that JD5 is the reason it hasn't happened. I also think that whatever behind the scenes issues that the back rooms talk about with his time at the Cardinals have not been 'cleansed' yet either. Mind you, I am not saying that Kliff is not HC material, but I believe he thinks that there are many things still to learn and process about being the HC. Plus, I think he has to itch that offensive play calling aura. He has been given and will get even better talent to make his case a no brainer to hire him. The true nature for success is to make it so you make the decision for people by being someone they can not do without. I do not believe he is there yet and I suspect, he doesn't either. How can you be around this group of people in this situation and not look at things in a realistic manner and make the smart, educated decision. Especially since money doesn't control it.

He has money and probably wants a ring. My guess is he is here for 2 or 3 years to master his craft and learn before he opens those HC doors. We are successful because of the organizational structure and some luck. He will probably want a similar organization to move to
