I'm basically here for the grilled steaks, chicken, pork chops, burgers, brats, lamb, smoked turkey, baked beans, egg salad, loaded baked potatoes, chips, rotini pasta salad, deviled eggs, ice cream, etc., etc., etc.

The last time I stopped by ES was in 2017. Honestly, it served its purpose and when it became a forum for things other than primarily football, it was time to close it.

I'm very active on X/twitter with a very large following, but that is mostly due to using those followers to drive traffic to my articles at Hogs Haven. I work on the draft full-time now and BGO afforded me the opportunity to get started with that kind of work. It's still a special relationship that mutually exists for our benefit - I deeply cherish it.

Ken is being modest. He has grown a tremendous audience especially on X. I know how much work that takes. He’s done it by being a great guy and working his ass off on content that people want to read.

I suspect the team, if the board truly is permanently gone, had their reasons for not wanting it out there. I honestly don’t think it should be that hard to figure out.

I think it would be better if folks want to discuss ES specifics and what went down, if you all did it in PMs. It has nothing to do with us here.

What's good everybody, late to the party here was waiting for all the dust to settle. Great to see so many names I recognize! I had the same name back on ES, been on that board since 2007 I think it was. Original moniker was "LLandryistheshiz"

I mostly post here but I do bounce over to Extreme Commanders. Today I experienced not 1 but 2 posts that were HUGE. 12 paragraphs of content and opinion, they are novels. This was one issue I had with ES, those posts are annoying as Hell and I will never ever take the time to read a 400 word post. When I commented on them I was criticized and made fun of.

Glad those posters went there and not here.

I experienced the outage but have not noticed a difference when it came back, but I'm not there all that often. Are you saying they lost posters?

Since Extremeskins vanished, I've been visiting three different Washington boards.

Here, on the BGO of course, the Extreme Commanders board (which seems kinda quiet, but it is the offseason), and the Football's Future board.

They'll be a lot of jumping around for me on draft weekend.
