I've been a REDSKINS fan since birth (1973) and I was born and raised in the NoVa area in Dale City/Woodbridge (Gar-Field High School). I used to do ES meetups and go to Redskins Park for send offs and welcome homes for the team.

Now I live in Wake Forest, NC. Married with a 13 yr old son and a 9 yr old daughter.

I clung to the name longer than most but it's been 4 years and it ain't coming back so time to turn the page.
I hate commanders but it's growing on me, sort of like a tumor does but it's growing on me nonetheless.
Plus I think if they were going to change it they would have already, you don't let a brand fester you either rip it off like a bandaid or you leave it, the whole we have bigger fish to fry thing, while true, was probably just cover for them to give the brand more time to set in.

It's amazing what winning will do. We're almost definitely stuck with Commanders. Gotta just make the best of it.
