Good Morning!

had a great date last night...woke up this morning and she made me breakfast. gotta love it when a woman appreciates you.

Hey, Mike-next time, make her breakfast and then let her watch you clean up the kitchen-you'll save yourself a lot of effort in the "on the hunt" department. :)

Do not fall into that trap Mike! :insane: Stay single as looooong as you can! :square:

Hook ups are only legitimate if you brag about them on the internets the next day.

So Mike, our Saturday night and Sunday mornings were actually somewhat similar with just a few key differences.

We both had ethnic food except mine was Mexican.
We both had craft beer. I just had to pay for mine.
We both had breakfast cooked for us the next morning by a woman.

As for the other stuff, I’ve been married for 34 years, so I’ll just let you figure that out on your own.

Hey guys, good morning to you all! I have noticed that the Political Threads have been getting a lot of playing time here in the 5 O'clock Club and wanted to try to gain a little perspective here, even though I have played a part in stoking the flames myself.

While the issues being discussed are important to us all, it is imperative that we maintain a level of decorum. This site is an outstanding representation of respect for others and I hope it always remains that way.

Good morning to you all and have a great day!

El, thanks for reminding us that this thread's still around-it does serve as a tension reliever from the stresses of trying to fix the world from one forum. LOL! :)

Mike, good job with the 10k and best of luck with the marathon.

To everybody else, have an excellent day, as I plan to do by staying indoors with the temperature projected to be 102 degrees-or maybe hotter.

Good Morning everyone! I hope this day bring you all you wish for! Oh and have a great weekend!

....a shallow grave in your back yard?

Wrong on so many levels! :behead:

Now back to the affirmations! Mike, you're a good man for going to her softball tournament since she was there for you at the end of your race! I, on the other hand, left my girlfriend at the club last night since she wanted to stay when I was ready to leave. I gave her a 15 minute deadline and she was not ready to go, so I left!

Good morning all! :bucktooth:

Mike, you running a marathon in May?

I'm running one in October. I'll let you know how terrible it is. :)

You guys should consider coming up to Anchorage for the Mayor’s Midnight Sun Marathon which is run on the Saturday closest to the summer solstice. It’s part of the Leukemia Society Team-in-Training series so it gets a pretty fair number of participants. Plus it is one of the few summer marathons available without excess heat.

The course is not an easy one (part of it is run on tank trails on the army base) but the scenery is great and there is always the possibility of running into a brown bear or moose.

so last night while running I felt my knee suddenly get really tight and then my leg from there down to my ankle and in to my foot was tingling and almost numb. so I went home, iced it, took some ibuprofens and fell asleep and when i woke up this morning I felt fine. Praise God!!

I hope you all have a great day and remember how blessed you are!

Hope your day goes well too Mike! Glad to hear your knee is not serious. Just keep an eye on it for the next few days.

I have been stuck in a rut for a few days. :( I have been laid off for a few weeks and am trying to find a decent job that will keep me working for 52 weeks while I prepare for Law School. Photography has been good since I have been mostly employed since I got out of school, but getting laid off twice a year for 6 week to 8 week stretches is getting old. :kick_can:

Prepping for LSAT in October, applications to schools and trying to reach my professors from Undergrad so I can get letters together is what I am doing now. Not fun! :wall: I just keep thinking, I need to grow up! :insane: But I have discovered that a BA is not much more attractive for someone my age than a High School Diploma. I'll grow up after Law School, I guess. :end:

Hope that cheered you all up! Have a great day everyone!

Sorry for the off-topic post, but good afternoon, BGO. :)

Just wanted to say that things on this end are beginning to look up. Mom is feeling better, and I have an interview for a REALLY good job on Thursday. It's at a local university, as a dispatcher for their police department.

The benefits are amazing. Medical, dental, vision, matching 401K, the usual fare. But also FREE tuition to ANY school in the University of Maryland system. I really, really need to get this job, so any good thoughts and/or prayers you can send my way would be most appreciated.

Likewise, I hope that each of you have everything that you need, and a good portion of what you want. May our Good Lord bless and keep you, cause his face to shine on you and be gracious to you. May He look upon you with favor, and give you His peace. Amen!!!

Well guys, I am off to the woods for a week. I will be launching my canoe in Paw Paw, WV around 2 today and will spend 4 or 5 days on the river. I hope you guys have a great week and I'll holla at ya later. Here's a photo of where I will be headed.

Sounds like it might be a pinched nerve. About 5 years ago I had one in my shoulder and literally overnight I lost 70% of my strength in my right arm and I felt numbness in my fingers but no pain. I had to stop lifting weights for about 6 months and then it took a year to get back to where I was.

Hopefully whatever you had is a one time thing

Good day everyone! Got in late last night after 4 long days on the river, but it was fantastic to be in the woods without any form of media! So, what did I miss?
