Get your mind around it....

All this keeping Haslett talk from Henry....

"You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch...you really are a heel....."

:p

If that's true & Dallas is the blind squirrel in your scenario, then what are we?

Hairless mole rat ?

Oh no, we haven't been good. I just think Haslett has that 'I'm easy to work with so it doesn't matter if I suck' thing going for him.

But his defense does suck. I don't really think that's up for debate.

By the way, 42 is the most Dallas has scored all season and 17 is the second least we've given up all season. You are using two outliers to try and prove a point. Though that is probably going to be the rationale the Redskins use to keep him.

I think we need a change as much from some of the personnel decisions Haslett helped make as the scheme.

He over-valued Orakpo and was largely responsible for the team bringing him back at an elite price tag.

He set up the 3-4 with a undersized NT in Cofield that was a natural 4-3 DT from the Giants' defense. After watching him start off well but wear down over 16 games repeatedly Haslett never saw the need to acquire or draft a natural NT.

Indeed the lack of a focal player on the DL has been one of the defenses weaknesses over time.

In the secondary you have to be a bit confused about the positive reports on Bacarri Rambo and the decision to name him a starter only to cut him entirely in Week 2 of the season.

That's one of the quickest hooks I have ever seen.

How could a staff that badly misgauge a player's ability through an entire offseason?

This defense has a few guys to build with - Kerrigan, Robinson, Breeland - but after 4 plus years Haslett has not established an identity for this unit or built any real momentum.

Whatever some guys are doing it seems as if it's in a vacuum.

And if Haslett goes take Morris with you.

Not impressed with him at all.

good point we are not good enough to just be a blanket D yet we have no identity, what is it we do good?

We're decent against the run. Helped, in part, because it's so easy to throw against us.

Yeah, but it's not bad. And that makes it......good!

Work with me brother. I'm trying.

two things:

that pesky Rak franchise tag is going to be the new "Haynesworthless" complaint for years to come.

and

Ax has obviously watched Wreck it Ralph a few times..

Pukes did it right. Patience with young me HC, built Oline. Jones son is also more involved and tempers Dads involvement. Sucks

Luckily, no cap dumping in an uncapped year is needed to get around Rak. He is off the books immediately.

Really? Because I remember seeing Jones go in a locker room and then on to the sidelines screaming to put Romo back in the game after we put him out.

Young HC? Seems like Garrett is just another one of Jones' puppets that is always on the "fired/hired" string just waiting for something to go wrong.

Romo is extremely overpaid
Bryant has already told them he wont take a "hometown deal"
and that defense is still weak plus benching Skandrick helped cause some good drama
Who will replace Witten when he goes away here soon?

I cant see anything that I like about the Pukes except their faces when they lose.

I guess we just see it differently lol

Their line gives them something to build around for a while. Garrett isn't great, but the line improves everyy hing on that team. It makes everything look better than it really is.

I would be fine with emulating them in this one case. Romo is getting absurd amounts of time back there, more than enough for an NFL level QB. Unfortunately, they should be pretty competitive for a few years.

that line is so good we broke their QBs back....again.

Why we love you Mike. Keep it real for all of us. Freaking pukes.

lol...ITS DALLASS WEEK!!!

**** DALLAS!!

love you guys back.

The fact remains that Dallas is playing sound, fundamental football.

They are getting better than 4.4 yards per carry on the ground, controlling the clock, and consistently converting third downs with two of the best receiving talents in the NFL in Dez Bryant Jason Witten.

They are also not turning the ball over and their special teams are good with Harris as a returner and Dan Bailey as their kicker.

Are they a bit short on defense because of injuries to guys like Lee and Lawrence?

Yes, and that will likely prevent them from advancing beyond teams like Seattle or Green Bay in the playoffs.

But for once you can say the staff has gotten the most out of the roster they were given to work with.

I still can't say that here.

That's all true.

So how about we go out and sweep the ****ers. :)

Yeah, I would rather win than lose of course. But beating the Cowboys again would only remind me of 1995 when we beat Dallas twice but watched them make the playoffs and ultimately win the Super Bowl.

Hard to get too excited over sitting home with a double digit loss team yet again.

At least the Eagles and Giants will be home as well. Misery loves company :)
