I was watching The Recruit on Netflix and there is a scene where one person says to another “I am not going to kill you but I don’t have to save you.”

Yeah, I never cared for him before, but when he ran that bullshit right after ST’s death, be became a perennial name on my list of people that I’d like to hit in the head with a 2x4.

Gonzalez did a Yeoman’s job filling in but imho he is not a long-term answer at kicker. His set up is horrible and he has yet to make a kick beyond 50 yds. We can do a lot better - even resigning Seibert would be a better option.

Pretty sure you're being facetious, but ole Zane has been open that he has OCD, and the hair thing is a part of his "ritual".

If he buzzed it off, he'd still be styling his scalp.

I wouldn't be surprised if we brought Seibert back, too. Plus, maybe even someone else with a bigger leg.

Roster limits may preclude that, but we should try out as many legs as we can.

The problem with Siebert is, although he played really well before getting hurt last season, that was by FAR his best season as a pro. I’m not sure he can consistently be as good as he was in 2024, but I guess that’s for our ST coach to determine.

I agree. Folk has been one of the most under appreciated kickers in the NFL. Never mentioned as one of the top, but he had his best seasons percentage wise the last two years. And he still 5 of 6 and 6 of 6 from beyond 50 those years.
