Can someone tell me what happened with Austin Seibert? He was our best kicker in YEARS up until his injury and then he returns and obviously had the bad outing vs the Cowboys but was willing to cut him some slack coming back from injury. Where did he go? He didn’t MISS from inside the 50! I know there are a few freaks in the NFL now a days kicking but if we are going to abandon Austin, commit to one of these guys with a freak leg :lol: a kicker that could routinely hit one from 55-60 though would be a cheat code with Jayden. Hope we find one in the next season or two.

I agree Austin Seibert was good (90% on field goals and set the team’s single-game record with seven field goals in week 2). But two things happened to him: He missed the extra point to tie the game against Dallas, and he was placed on IR in November. It looks like he is a free agent now.

I really expected him to be part of the kicking competition this year, but hopefully Matt Gay gives us some stability at the position.

ahhh he played more than I thought. I thought Zane Gonzales played way more.

Yeah we had kicking by committee last year, which worked well enough, but I’m sure we hope Matt Gay will gives us some us some stability at the position.

Zane was a great story though, he overcame some mental health challenges and filled in admirably after Seibert went down, and I’m grateful he doinked that kick in to win the wild card game against Tampa, but I was never completely confident in him.

We need to draft a center next year. And probably a developmental QB.

I'm pretty disappointed that we were not in on the Brennan Jackson action now a Raider given our need for a stronger pass rush. That's a pretty big whiff IMO for the FO.

We may have been in on him but we were 29th on list. There was also Bradyn Swinson available. We could have had him. It was surprising he was waived by the Pats but then maybe more surprising that he went unclaimed and is now on the Pats development squad.

There are a number of positions that will need to be addressed next off-season. WR appears to be a priority, especially if Deebo is gone and McCaffrey and Lane don't step up a lot. WIll need to let the season play out

Agreed. I think you can put EDGE on speed dial too along with a pass catching TE.

May need to watch LB as well, plus RB and lets see how the DL holds up versus the run, and yu can always use improvement with DB's. Just too early to call, let the season play out

I believe that LB Ale Kaho is going to surprise this year, if given playing time. AP wasted a pick for Ken Norton Jr. on Medrano.

I liked watching Edwards in real time over the years but never studied him. Ran at Michigan more gap than zone based on my RB notes, good athlete.
