Dump London. After Greg Schiano is let go down at Tampa, bring him to Charlottesville. No, he is not a good coach in the NFL, but he is darn good in the college ranks. That would be a good hire.

To be fair, they took him out in the 2nd half. If he'd played the 2nd half, they would have won by 100!

And what I think will be the biggest bull**** circumstance in NCAA football, the Ducks will pass the Noles in the BCS for beating a #12 team this week...a week after we blasted the #3 team in the country. That's OK, Stanford will take care of it next week and after we beat Miami, that will have us sitting pretty for a matchup with Alabama in the Championship.
 
Jameis and the Noles play the #7 Miami Hurricanes tomorrow. Are the Canes really a #7 team? They have been under the radar and I have not seen them play. Could they really be good enough to beat us?

After what we did to Clemson, I do not think there is a team in the ACC that can beat us. I see maybe the Tide and Ducks being the only teams in the same category in college football this year.

Famous Jameis and 15% of next year's first round draft class travel to Wake Forest at noon today. Hopefully they are taking this game seriously.

Alabama and LSU should also produce some points.

He says in the article that he wants to play both professionally. If he's good enough that would obviously be very rare company. (Bo, Deion)

Although he may be a flash in the pan. After all, he's only played, what, 9 games? ;)
 
Understood completely. But he did play major league baseball for 9 years, granted many were part time.

I don't, however, think that an NFL quarterback could do both. They have way more demands than a running back or cornerback has.

Where did y'all see that the investigation is definitely involving Winston? I've only seen one paragraph on TMZ that links him:

the initial police reports lists the suspect's height at 5'11'' max ... Winston is 6'4.' That report also says the suspect has straight hair. Discrepancies aside, we have confirmed with law enforcement sources Winston is indeed the suspect.

Shaky... my sources confirm that "law enforcement sources" are the distant cousins of "sources familiar with the situation," and down-the-street neighbors of "team sources." :)

If it does turn out to be him, I would hope he doesn't escape full punishment just because he's a Heismann-caliber QB.
 
Careful Mike, I posted this last night here and was told it was the biggest clown post in the history of the site. Yeah, I don't get it either.
 
If Jameis did do something wrong, then I hope they lock him up in jail and throw away the key.

Based upon two things I've observed, the team doesn't believe any of it:

1. FSU has a "no nonsense" policy. And it doesn't matter how great the player may be. This is the same team that kicked Randy Moss off the team the first time he was caught with a joint. Many schools would have put him through a class, or made him sit two games--not FSU. They don't play around.

2. The backup QB isn't even being prepared to start in case charges ever come. This seems a little foolish to me, but speaks loudly as to the team's level of confidence.
