The reality is that Terry is not going to get anywhere close to what he wants from anyone. Not the Commanders...not another team when/if he gets the opportunity. The sooner he realizes and accepts this the better off he will be.
If he is hell bent to make his point no matter the cost, he is cutting off his nose to spite his face. I know it was mentioned in this thread before as well, Terry has (had?) the chance to be a legend in the DMV for years to come. Even after his playing days are over. Look at Santana Moss, Brian Mitchell, London Fletcher, Fred Smoot, all the others who are still a part of our culture here. People who are still involved in Washington football literally decades after their playing careers ended. Terry could secure a true future for he and his family down the road in the DMV if he could see the forest through the trees, but not if he continues down this road of destroying his reputation and all the goodwill he spent years building.
