The Starter
Most likely imo. It's not like he did anything of worth in the past 3 seasons he played. Probably just Quinn doing him a favor.I wonder if he'll be a camp cut?

I hear you. I guess it's in the eye of the beholder. We all see things differently and that's cool. I guess to break it down a bit, Marks (a poor man's Deebo) has the hands of Deebo, not the break out speed as him but he is quick and can pick up chunks of yards on any given play. He can take it to the house from time to time, depending on how many defenders are around him at that time.
It will be interesting to see how Skattebo does in the pros. Hopefully, he brings the hammer and can churn out yards, break tackles and do what he did in CFB. I got Giddens = Neal in production at the next level but that's just me. Yes, with Harvey I can see him being better than Giddens, Neal and Tuten as I mentioned him as "possibly" in the 3rd round but he'll probably be taken in round 2. Also, possible that some teams will fall for these or other RBs and nab them earlier or later.
Another draft pick filled with potential but to date hasn't shown up. If living up to his potential. he would be just what the doctor ordered for the LB/S position kind of assisting to fill Chinns spot and being a nice chess piece for DQ and WhittDoes Dominique Hampton move the needle for your hopes in 2025?
Because I haven’t heard one word about him and he was our #6 pick last year.
How many reps did he get in 2024?
Zero.
Robinson despite not ascending to top status as a back is much better than the average end of draft picks.
That's what O.J. Simps....nevermind.Just got the wrong brother.
SIP, I'd gladly take Harvey, Neal or James in the 3rd round. I like those guys a lot. I'd be equally happy with Marks in the 6th. He's a player that is needed as another weapon on this team. Yes, let's take this and any other draft items to that thread. Apologies to you and the administrators for posting responses for this on the FA thread.I think the comp to Ekeler for Marks is good, don't see much if any of Deebo but to each their own. Deebo majors in being a physical runner who breaks tackles -- that's not exactly Marks' wheelhouse.
The good news for Marks from the context of this team is he had one of the lowest RAS scores in this group. And between that and being 24, I think there is a fightng chance he isn't even drafted and if so, he'd be an easy get. I'd guess though he goes in the 6th, will see.
Was listening to Mcshay today, he thinks Skattbo and Kaleb Johnson go in the late 2nd. He thinks that next run will be Harvey, Dylan Sampson, Giddens, Jordan James. His partner in the podcast in another segment put Tuten in that range, too. I agree with all of that except James.
Jordan James and Devin Neal IMO in that same range, that next tier down. Neither is explosive. Neither great at anything IMO but good at a lot of different things. Personally, I am higher than most on Marks. Marks IMO belongs in this strata with Neal and James. But for whatever reason mock drafters don't think so. But IMO he has better hands than both James and Neal. None of the three are homerun take it to the house hitters. But they can hit their share of doubles.
Bringing it back on topic, I do think the O line blocking will be better this season and that should help. But lol anything further I'll respond on the draft thread.
If hes even just as good as Dyami the cap savings (projected what Dyami received) is more than worth it.At a minimum Gallup is an upgrade over Dyami.
We don't need Gallup, we have Trent Scott
Thats exactly his role.At a minimum Gallup is an upgrade over Dyami.

Sometimes the cross talk just happens. FA effects the draft and vice versa. Although with our roster basically full at this point I get your point.Stop talking about the draft in this thread.
