Burner's Burning Questions: Free Agency, Mocks, Camps, OTAs, Roster Predictions, 2020

He was not my first choice of TEs in this draft. Here is how I rated them.

1. Cole Kmet
2. Brycen Hopkins
3. Adam Trautman
4. Colby Parkinson
5. Albert Okwuegbunam
6. Thad Moss
7. Harrison Bryant

Moss may have a chip on his shoulder now and perform above expectations. Let's hope so. He has a chance.

A few weeks ago, the mother of Brycen Hopkins followed me on twitter and I followed back.

We'll see what happens in the coming days. She is a very nice person.

BB is there something wrong with Trey Adams, the Washington st tackle? Seems he woulda been a very low risk gamble in the later rounds & fills a huge need.

And then there's one of the other UDFA's the Redskins snatched up... He scored on returns quite a bit at Temple. Another WR who plays more like a RB. He was inconsistent at Temple which hurt his draft stock. But he's got some open field skills...

My latest article at Riggo's Rag posted very early this morning. I offer a grade on each draft pick and an overall team grade.

And that’s one reason I think it is logical to look to the 2021 draft to take a tackle.

That doesn’t mean Haskins and the Redskins are doomed in 2020 and no improvement on offense is possible because we have a bridge player in place or because a younger guy like Charles emerges as a solid player who is improving along with the rest of the team.

Some folks on here seem ready to cancel the season because we don’t have Wilfs or Thomas on our roster.

When I look back at 2019 despite all the BS about this team Flowers and Penn played well overall. This was no matador OL on the left side

In case anyone didn’t notice we also don’t have a dominant cover corner in the top 3-5 or at the moment a dominant LB at that level of the defense.

You can only improve so many areas in one year from 3-13 if you are going to do it the right way through the draft and develop players.

Otherwise you are the Rams who excel for one big year and then crash with a mountain of dead cap hits and no first round picks.

He looks tall in some of those videos, but I believe he's only 5' 9" or so. Hurt his shoulder last year which cut his season short. Decent prospect and I'd love to see what he can do on kick returns.

I soooo wish we'd grabbed Joe Reed from Virginia in the 5th round. He is an absolute baller and he's going to be a very good pro. Chargers snagged him at pick 151.
