I'm not one who would be so quick to release Grossman. He can be a big asset to both Griff and Cousins. They've even said as much. Maybe he can't execute the offense as well as liked, but he knows it and he has the experience of being an NFL QB (both on and off the field).
I love that we drafted Cousins, along with RG3, but he's still a work in progress. And in many ways, so is RG3. I think they should hold onto Grossman at least one more year as the backup.
Should RG3 go down with an injury during the game, I'd throw Grossman into the fire (not Cousins) and then depending on how long he's out decide if you want to prep Cousins to get his first start. But I wouldn't just cast Grossman aside.
