WFT to Retire Sean Taylor’s Number

I am sure the kid wasn't purposefully dancing on the 21 to disrespect Taylor or Washington. And he did apologize.

That said, how does one go through life with such an extreme lack of self-awareness that he EVER thought filming himself dancing on the 21 was a good idea.

And that is all I care to think or say about that.

I have observed that most people today, especially under the age of 25, appear to have an extreme lack of self-awareness. And more importantly, situational awareness.

Now all you kids get off my lawn!

He's the same kid who poured water on a fan in the stands. I'm not going to cut him slack for being stupid.

Not saying he was right to do it but there is more to that story. It didn't happen in a vaccum.

I really don't get why people defend shitty actions from people with a track record of being shitty. It's almost like we aren't going to hold him accountable for his own actions.

Here is the video...there is no excuse. "He's known for Tik tok dances before games on the opposing teams field".

Does anyone believe he would have volunteered an apology because he felt is was wrong or was it only because of the outcry from fans. I bet you in his personal life he gloats about this kind of stuff

Sure looks like it, Bob.

I'm sorry but it would make less than no sense to rope off an area around the number just to intentionally put people in it. My brain can't come up with the logic. If somehow the purpose was to give them an area to stand within a roped off section and THAT is where team personnel chose to do so, they need to be fired....

I still can't belive that those people did not enter that area on their own...

Oh I believe that part. You know who thought of having people wander all over a roped off 21 on the sidelines?

The Washington Football Team. That’s who.

The half-assery of this event, and ridiculous ideas like that are just more evidence that the WFT planned this whole thing on the fly and didnt think a damn thing through. I will never believe that this was The Plan since August or whenever.

This organization finds ways to lower the bar every year. It’s astounding, really.

Mahomes brother is f’n tool, immature and definitely clueless to what that area and the whole day was dedicated to. Hope like hell Andy calls PM into his office over his brother’s long term behavior and image it presents.

Since everything nowadays WFT goes through Ron, I’m also hoping he & Wright answer for this all week long at minimum. Answer why in the heck there was no field security intervening on turdboy’s dance. Why was THAT location chosen over somewhere that could be better secured and away from incidents such as this.

Honestly, I’m not sure anyone currently employed with the team even cares at this point.

So, safe to say many things were messed up on Sean Taylor Remembrance Day?

Less than no sense is what that organization majors in. Like the photo op in front of a row of portable toilets.

Dan just wants his public personal to be a down-to-earth, normal grandpa; he's trying to pull a Dave Thomas.

Not some evil millionaire snake with a toxic culture.

To me It was set up as an on field memorial celebrating the life of #21 whos life was taken from him ,a type of shrine for redskin fans that was roped off . I would think anyone normal and I use that term loosely would know not to desecrate like he did IMO .. if someone went to the Vietnam memorial and was dancing on it would you blame the park police ? No you just don’t expect people to act like that.. and the fact that Sean was killed and not some retired player returning to the stadium to have his number retired makes it worse..

lol look how he runs for the door like pu**y after he dumps the water on them

Is it normal and ordinary for player’s family members to be on the field before games?

Yes. I’ve been on the field before games. They have pregame field passes. At least before COVID they did. It’s normally pretty crowded on the sidelines before a game. The last time I went, they even had 2 levels of field access. One was just the sideline. The top level was around the Redskins tunnel. The only thing that would be odd is if he were on the Team’s side of the field doing that. But if they put those at the 21 on both sides of the field near both end zones, then he could have been by himself doing his weirdo thing without anyone noticing.

Looks like Chiefs sideline.

I mean, they're all standing all over it.

Why in the hell would you even do that?

Was a FedEx field employee so outbof touch they put them in there?

That brother seems special so they were probably told stay out, and somehow understood step in.
