well?....what's the score in the Gints game gonna be?!!!!

A win wouldn't surprise me at all after the improved play we've seen of late. That said, I have to see it extend into the regular season before I start predicting us beating teams like the Giants who pretty much own us.

Giants 31, Redskins 28.

Ellie seems to have good games against the Redskins for some reason. This will be his last hurrah against the 'Skins though. The defense will look rough, but it will rebound and slowly become a force as the season progresses.

The offense will be efficient. Not great, but efficient. It will be that way for all of 2011.

I assume this means we have no trips to the red zone? No way we score 28 if we get in the red zone. You'd have to adjust those 4 tds to 4 fgs, and we lose 31-12.

I will bet my testicles that we will not score a TD if we get in the red zone.

Normally, when faced with situations where we have gone up against some of the more physical teams in the league in games of significant magnitude, we have fallen short of expectations. While the team gave us as fans a bit of hope during the preseason in terms of our ability to stand up against some of the bullies in the league (e.g. Steelers, Ravens), I still need proof that we handle the pressure of playing successfully against physical teams in big games (especially on home turf where we normally struggle). I think we put up a better fight against the Giants in Week 1 and put them on notice, but inexperience, lack of "winning know-how", and inefficiency in the redzone means we fall short in the end.

Giants 20
Redskins 16

24-7 Giants.

Bleh.

Based on nothing but gut I'm going to say

Redskins 31
Giants 24

Giants defense is banged up and I think 'Skins will take advantage of that.

3 things learned

1, extreme is going to cut his testicles off if we score from in the red zone.
2, dont sit by brian at the skins vs 49ers game

To be honest, I'd be more afraid of sitting next to Extreme if we score in the red zone than by sitting next to Brian at the 49ers game.

I'll say this... after the lockout, so many new faces, and a week to practice I thought that the Steelers, a vet team with a system long in place, would not only beat us, but make us look silly.

Nothing is a given.

Re: the phrase in bold.

1.) True for all32 teams.

2.) A prediction ? You're kidding. :insane:

To be clear, I never said if we score inside the red zone, I said if we score a TD in the red zone, which I am 100% certain we will not do.

I do, however, predict a couple of 21+ yard TDs :D

31-27 Skins - I doubled what I think each team will score to make it more intriguing

We are a three point underdog at home?

I'll lay the points. Giants 23, Skins 13.

Ye of little faith. This one will be a blow out....

Skins - 31
Giants 16

Might as well throw it down in this thread too.

Not ready to predict a big win, but I do have this sneaky gut feeling that the Giants are very bit as confident in beating the Redskins are many Redskins fans are. I think the Skins are going to surprise some people Sunday. Not big, but not fluky either.

Redskins 23
Giants 20
