Here is the rub. Once you get to 6 losses, the only way to make the post-season (outside of it being one of those really weird seasons where every team falls off and is .500ish going into final week) is to run the table, and I wouldn't predict this team, even completely healthy, to be capable of that this season.
All I ask is that after the next loss (or at the most their 7th loss) get the old men off the field. It is painful watching their inability to keep up with even average NFL players over and over......once the math removes W/L column from being a concern, get the young folks out there on the field because they need to find out which of the draft picks can play or at least be developed because a few of these players either need to retire or take their services somewhere else in the offseason.

You are correct, but there is a lot of superior coaching as well. I actually don't think the offensive personnel there (especially with injuries, to be clear) is vastly superior to here. The "next man up" philosophy has to be combined with coaching that puts players in a position to succeed. If you don't have that type of coaching, "next man up" is just words. The backups usually have more limited skillsets, but specific things they may be good at, so it's definitely a bigger challenge for coaches. This roster just isn't good enough to withstand these injuries. There are starters that are over the hill but the coaches seem uncomfortable getting other players into the game on pivotal downs.
The 49ers as the opposite example and example of what could be different in the future if the roster is built properly over the next few seasons. They are 5-3 with tons of injuries as well, but that roster is able to "next man up" their way to still looking capable. Obviously against the better teams they are going to falter, but I would be in favor of them beating teams like The Bears & Falcons even with the injuries.

Bet your bottom dollar! To conflate cliches.
The sky is falling, but the sun will come up tomorrow.

I think Karma punched Terry in the nuts!! All that off season crying for a bigger contract, losing some of the fan base in his corner, messing up the locker room vibrations and for what?! To be sidelined with injuries and not contribute!! Hopefully it's a lesson learned!!
