Oh shit! 🤪🫣

Seriously thinking about this to easily supplement my heavy duty board. Guitar>QC>Lehle>Amps for ease of play in the living room.

Beautiful! Have you played nylon previously?

(PS- If you don’t find a seller that has it in stock I can happily refer you to a great Taylor retailer that can save you some bucks on a Taylor factory order (15-20%) + no tax, free shipping, and a full factory pre-ship inspection. The owner assisted me with my 618 LH purchase. A 10 out of 10 experience.)

That's a pretty guitar - I love the zodiac inlay. Don't know if I could pull off the 'Be Love' lol...

Oh shit! Look what arrived this morning!

After playing it for a few hours the sound is fantastic and so is the action. It is a beautiful guitar.

I am 60 and my girl is almost 28. I just told her that when I die? I want this guitar to go to our son or our daughter. It's that beautiful ā¤ļø

Jamming/learning this today. Not difficult. Using the new nylon Taylor and my PRS

Just did a refresh and set this up today - will see how it sounds tomorrow. Pretty excited for it to be honest... :)

iheartskins how long was the wait for the KOT?
About 3 days from reverb :) - am slightly concerned that my wait list request from 2022 will not be made before they run out of parts and/or Mike Piera stops (/God forbid something happens to him) so I just caved and bought one.

Top dollar.

Is it all that they make it out to be?

I really do like it - but if you tested me on how it tonally, objectively differs from the 20+ other overdrive/bluesbreaker-esque/tube screamer-esque/Klon clones/etc. that I have, would I reliably be able to differentiate it? I'm honestly not sure. I feel the same about distinguishing (reliably/consistently) between the sound of most OTR Teles even though that's what I spend 95% of my time playing (albeit a high-end clone from a different manufacturer who worked in the Fender Custom Shop).

I'm not sure the KoT is worth it, but I do really like it. I'm sure there are pedals that are just as good or better that aren't as expensive.

I'm a pretty poor witness though, as after I put together that pedal board in the above picture, I did relatively quickly take the instrument cable from my Suhr and just plug it directly into the Milkman One Watt and skipped the whole signal chain.

As much as I like pedals (and reading about them/collecting them and futzing with how to make them sound "best"), for me it's really hard to beat the sound of a good guitar going directly into a good tube amp. That's just me though. :)

I'm trying not to go off the deep end with my responses LOL! Too many guitars, pedals and amps...so I get it. I am addicted to tone!

New pedals inbound. Had them before but sold them due to the divorce. Pete Cornish is A1

G2 is germanium fuzz think 70s Marshall rock. The G-2ā„¢ gives a higher level of overdrive for that classic cranked up Marshall sound found on most British rock records of the 70s (Led Zeppelin, Free, Bad Company etc.). The G-2ā„¢ with its warm Germanium qualities and higher gain starts at around the rhythmic crunch stage of the SS-3ā„¢ and continues through in controllable degrees to a rounded but dynamic lead.

P2 is a smoother Big Muff...think Comfortably Numb. The PETE CORNISH P-2ā„¢ is highly recommended for a fat, high-gain, searing lead sound and is perfect for solos and heavy rock rhythm work. This pedal is used prominently by David Gilmour of Pink Floyd and Paul McCartney. The P-2™’s full, bright sound cuts through the mix effortlessly and was the recipient of the Editor's Pick Award from Guitar Player Magazine,

Sounds awesome! I have a Geranium Fulltone OCD. Another one that sounds good. I have a lot of FOMO when it comes to small maker overdrive pedals, even if I don't have them "on" most of the time...!

Cornish pedals on order!!! Crazy prices in GBP :(

Final board #1 (of 2) layout below, also signal and power. Ignore the power strip for now. Pink indicates high power requirements (PC2A should be pink). Orange indicates high end buffer/line driver built in.

Inbound. ETA Tues? Customs charges were $140! 😔

More examples
I will us a Buffalo FX PowerBooster before my fuzz section and a Buffalo FX TD-X after. The P2 is smoother and has more mids vs. the P1.

Also have this inbound for board 1

Also using an existing PP2+

I will post build photos
