- Misspell Mark Moseley's name on his alumni credential, son upset on social media
- Send security guards out to tell fans they can't have 'Sell the Team' signs. Then later apologize for doing so after the game.
- Security making fans with bags on their head take them off.... 'for safety reasons'
- Handing out commemorative seat cushions to fans - on the way OUT of the game because you're afraid to give them out on the way in.
- Tanya Snyder booed by crowd during a jumbotron spot about breast cancer survivors

All those examples are bad, but how in the world do you misspell a former player's name?

Anyone can misspell a name. The question is, how - knowing the fanbase is going to catch every error you make - can you continue to allow the mistakes to happen over and over again?

Snyder has checked out. He is no longer a visible part of the organization, although he obviously is working through his wife in some regards.

Meanwhile, Ron Rivera and Co. are worried to hell the 2-4 start and thud that is Carson Wentz don't blow up in their faces.

That's kind of my point. After all the little missteps, you would think they'd have a little more quality control in place. I get small things happen, but small things happen a lot with this crowd.

When you can't get the little things right, it's hard to trust that they'll get the big ones right. I also think these kinds of errors reinforce the idea that you have a bunch of people running this 'business' who have little regard for or understanding of the team's history and how much it matters to the fanbase. They've demonstrated it repeatedly. It's embarassing if nothing else.

Look, folks this is the team that gave out #49 to Leonard Stephens and then had to apologize to Bobby Mitchell that his jersey was given out to an undrafted free agent.

Snyder hasn't given a **** for a long time. Remember it was Bruce Allen that brought the idea of an 'Alumni Weekend' to the forefront and sponsored it.

That wasn't Snyder's idea.

Jason Wright to me is in way over his head. Anything he has been 'in charge of' (quotes emphasized) has seemingly blown up.

In that way he's no different than the other dolts they have working in the organization.

Brian LaFemina was probably the last quality executive they had in the organization and we saw how long he lasted in his job.

The weird thing about these missteps is that a part of the rebranding that irks me is this idea that they can have their cake and eat it, too. They can shout, "We're a new team! This is the first year of the Commanders" and then in the same breath say, "Hey let's celebrate our 75 years of history and 90 greatest players" whom we will pretend were all Commanders.

The Redskins greats were Redskins greats. One day, there may be Commanders' greats, but not yet. Even Terry right now has a legacy tied to either the Redskins or the WFT.

Not to mention, you've got Tanya Snyder up there yelling 'Hail to the Redskins' - which was beyond pathetic and bizarre. How stupid do these people think the fanbase is? Is 'Redskins a racist epithet or isn't it? You cannot have it both ways.

I'm glad we won yesterday. Everything else, almost literally, was a mess.

The thought that occurred to me yesterday is that we may have reached the point where winning won't help. It won't help in terms of getting a new stadium or resolving the issues with the owners or making (most) fans come around on Dan. The wins become secondary to the larger fire. It's like "Yay! We saved the dog" and then turning around and seeing the house on fire with the kids trapped inside.

Again, Snyder reaches back to the Gibbs and Allen glory years every time he feels he needs to circle the wagons.

Everyone is sick of it. It's false and an artificial celebration. Snyder and Co. think they are so smart they can run circles around everyone else and pull the 'long con' and get away with it.

Snyder right now to me is where Art Modell was in Cleveland the year before he moved the team, when he was lying about trying to work out a deal with the city for a new stadium and giving out false messages of hope talking about history and community, etc.

The truth is Snyder would ONLY be able to hold on this long in a league where owners make so much money they can afford to ride a guy like Dan for years and not let it affect the bottom line.

After being a partner in several small businesses over the years, I can guarantee you the reputation of someone like Snyder conducting business the way he does would lead to him being frozen out in terms of partners and financing. No one would trust the guy.
