You are correct on that front. I don’t want to downplay the women and what they went through and the courage it takes for them to speak out. They are the only sympathetic people in this whole sad saga. They should have never had to deal with any of this.

Six former employees of the Washington Commanders spoke at a congressional roundtable on Thursday and accused the NFL of failing to crack down on the team’s fratty, free-for-all work environment — including a former employee who accused longtime team co-owner Daniel Snyder of trying to shove her into his limo after a work-related dinner.
Speaking publicly for the first time, Tiffani Johnston, who worked for the team for eight years as a cheerleader and marketing manager, accused Snyder of placing his hand on her inner thigh under the table at a work dinner and, after the meal, “aggressively” pushing her toward his limo.

“The only reason Dan Snyder removed his hand from my back and stopped pushing me towards his limo was because his attorney intervened and said, ‘Dan, Dan, this is a bad idea … a very bad idea,’” she said. “There was no one to go to about Dan Snyder’s advance, no path to report the incident … so I learned to move on.”

The team’s former vice president of sales and customer service, Jason Friedman, sent a letter to the committee to corroborate the accusation shared by Johnston, the former cheerleader and marketing manager, about the night Snyder attempted to coerce her into his limo.

Maloney read aloud from it: “I witnessed Dan Snyder grab the arm of my coworker Tiffani Johnston and attempt to pull her into his limousine. This took place over a dinner in Washington, D.C. I was shocked. Thankfully, Tiffani was able to pull away.”

So many disgusting revelations. Pretty clear that this was just 'business as usual' and not some isolated events. Having seen how the top execs operated when we had insider access, I can't say it doesn't ring true. When I really think about it, I have to question how I can support this guy's pocketbook and business. He is really a disgusting pathetic excuse of a human being. You know who I would like to hear from on all this?

There’s no f’n way he stays owner now, there can’t be. This may get a few owners and maybe Goodell canned.
 
You have to believe people actually hearing these women speak would compel public opinion to force the NFL to release previous findings and do something. And if that's not enough, you actually have a former male executive corroborating at least once incident. That makes it even much tougher to hide from.
 
And we now know Snyder himself was harassing employees, not just the owner while others were. And these are just the women willing to speak up.

Just the behind-the-scenes porn video made at Snyder’s direction with his favorite tunes should be enough to take anyone down. There is no way that someone doesn’t have a copy. Why has it not been leaked to the media?

This is the key. People making direct accusations about Snyder. He’s been able to play the dumb incompetent owner card this whole time. When people tell stories about him directly, he has to confront it. The league should have to confront it. They can’t hide behind the league’s dumbest owner and say he didn’t know.

Legally the NFL and Snyder may be able to push that off, but it'll put a big black eye on them in the media. If the media keeps up the pressure like they did in other situations, the NFL will have to do something.
 
I’m pretty sure this Congressional committee has already demanded all records including the ‘650,000 emails’ and was ignored. Why won’t they continue to be ignored? Congress can’t force Snyder or the NFL to do anything as far as I’m aware.
 
I doubt there are any allegations that were aired yesterday that were not included in Wilkinson’s written report.

The problem is that Snyder needs to approve the release of said report. Not gonna happen. NFL owners have circled the wagons and Snyder himself is apparently so personally immune to public scorn that he just doesn’t give a F.

It’s not like his image can be rehabilitated anyway. So on he goes. Only a release of the porn video could force meaningful action. Video resonates in this ADHD society. The Ray Rice scandal changed entirely after video of his offense was exposed.
 
Nevertheless, there seems to be a lot more energy and traction post-hearing than I’ve seen. The question is, will outrage and momentum continue to build or can Goodell and Snyder successfully ride this out until it dies down again?
