Let’s be honest, in order to get Pierce from Indy you would need to offer more than say 5% higher than his current team. Clearly we don’t know the offer, but a marginal difference isn’t a difference making offer. Some spin in that reporting.
 
Your plan with this many holes has to have more than a single candidate on it.

You have to pivot and go after #2 and get something done.
Doubs is still available. Plus there is still a ton of defensive talent out there yet. I’m not worried.
 
I have never heard of Amik Robertson. 27, small, has started 35 of 83 available games.
 
Robertson 27 years old. Solid player. But nothing special imo.
