So besides Ward and or Holland we have screwed the pooch on every possible player that could be an upgrade for us I am rather shocked right now

still many out there, Koonce and Ward for instance. We will get ours at a better price and have money next year when It matters more.

Not sure if it was posted. Fields to the Jets for 2/$40m. Being a Jets fan is like being a Dan Snyder-era Washington fan.

That was last year. They have now made moves to surpass us when we just sat back and let every good player who was also a major need go elsewhere. But hey we signed a bust at DT in the first 2 minutes of FA. Awesome work

Patience, young paddlewan. This is just the wildcard round of free agency. Tomorrow is the Super Bowl of the offseason.

If the Seahawks play their cards right, they draft a QB in the middle of the draft and they'll be fine. Everyone remembers Russell Wilson. Nobody remembers that Matt Flynn was one of their prized free agents that season.

Ok, but I don't think there's been a player as good as Russell Wilson in the 3rd round (or Kirk Cousins in the 4th round) since the 2012 draft. I might be missing a guy, but especially now, good QBs come from the first round, and the hit rate is still about 50%.

Every so often you get that guy. But it's about once a decade or there abouts. Brady, of course, is the clear exception that proves the rule.

Very true. Sweat went to be with his defensive coordinator from Philly. It really is a league built on relationships for sure.

Yeah, solid deal to reunite him with his former DC. I'd have made that deal for us. We were talking 18-20 per. I thought he'd end up getting over 22per.

you think they are good players but you don't know how the team feels about their fit. clelin ferrell and dante fowler were also busts. both were productive for us. if AP feels kinlaw is on an upward trajectory, going into his prime, i'll take his evaluation at face value until proven otherwise. I'm not scared of caleb williams or russ wilson (if the giants do sign him) when we play them next year. we have the better QB and free agency is still in-progress and we still have the draft.
