He reminds me of a poor man's AJ Green, and not that poor. He'd be a great get in the early 2nd.
He kinda reminds me of a faster, more explosive Tee Higgins. Both big and a bit lanky, smooth route runners but not big YAC guys, great hands and body control, good but not elite release off the line. Ideal #2 receivers. Higgins had much more production in college, but he was also on a far superior team (had Trevor Lawrence throwing him the ball). I'd definitely take him with a 2nd rounder.

Fannin comp to me is Brevin Jordan as another highly productive F TE prospect who tested poorly. If I recall, many had Brevin going Day 2 prior to testing and he eventually fell to the 5th. Brevin has at least stuck around on the Texans who drafted him.
He has a build that reminds me of Jordan. But Jordan was a good player in college, good production but far from great. Fannin season's was basically three times what Jordan did at his peak. Fannin had an insane season. Jordan never even came close to touching that production. Some like to say Isaiah Likely. I get that comp to some extent.
Fannin though isn't an easy projection IMO. Only 20.

Yeah I was thinking Tee Higgins in some ways, too. Smoother than Tee Higgins but Tee is more physical.

I agree with this. He could be a Brevin Jordan. But, he could be a Jordan Reed. I could see that as a comp. And Gannon did come up huge in his games against better competition.
Jordan never exploded in college though. Isaiah Likely had at least one big season, not Fanin's level but big enough.
He's a hard guess for me but i can see why a team would roll the dice. He's always open. That's the hardest thing for me to gauge though because without the all 22 its tough to see how he's getting open. He makes plays on all three levels but more so in the flat. He's a physical player as for contested catches and YAC. He doesn't have to run block much but when he does he's good at it.
Not great speed -- but not deal breaking lack of athleticism either. Good shuttle number.
The more I watched the tight ends the less interested I am in any in the 2nd unless Loveland falls which I don't expect. Taylor, Arroyo, Fannin, Ferguson IMO are 3rd-4th round prospects. Arroyo with the highest upside IMO but injury concerns if there were no injury concerns IMO he's the slam dunk #3. Fannin is the biggest mystery box. Taylor IMO i think will be a decent TE but limited upside so nothing special. Ferguson has some upside but strikes me more of potentially a good #2. The 5th-7th round range not bad as for betting on some other TE prospects IMO.

I’d say the counter would be that Brevin was at a Power 5 program and Fannin did this at a smaller level. That being said, I agree that Fannin is the better player. While he won’t give you much as a pass blocker, I do like that he is at least solid in the run game.

As we think trade down, there are a lot of good teams that currently have 10+ picks with a bunch in Day 3. They include Baltimore, Buffalo, LAC, Miami and SF. It’s doubtful that these teams can fit that many rookies on to the roster and they know it. All teams to think about as we think about trading down to scoop up more Day 3 picks
Totally agree, I wouldn't be shocked if we end up with 5-6 picks after the 4th round. We currently have 2 including no 5th.

I neither see Sanders lasting until the last pick of the first round nor the Eagles trading the pick so they can potentially get their QB. As for our projected pick, I'd be disappointed with a safety even if he's really highly rated. Give me Hampton or a highly rated edge.

Also agreed with the implied trade down bias. If somehow Sanders slips that far (can't imagine it) or a truly needy QB team comes a calling maybe we could even get a slight premium in our picks haul.I agree but would not hate it. Give me LB Jihaad Campbell Alabama and thank me later
If a small trade back was not possible I would be okay with that pick because I believe he solidifies or defensive backfield and he really fits what DQ wants. There are however a number of OL, Edge, CB, WR and RB's that could solidify other areas of need. I am sure whoever they take will be their highest rad player and they won't be a Forbesesque selection
Tough guess with tight ends more than most spots. Two of Fannin's best games are against Penn State and Texas Am so he showed out no matter the competition. But he and I'd add Tre Harris as a WR are hard guesses -- they are so wild open so much that either they are magicians at seperating or their scheme spreads out the defense so much that it lends to that level of seperation. I don't know.
If I had access to the All 22, interviews, etc Id have maybe a better idea. But he's intriguing to me.
I think Shedeur Sanders is overrated, but I have a hard time seeing him last until the 2nd round with both the Browns and Giants being desperate for a QB (assuming Ward goes to the Texans at #1).
Brutal for Restrepo, I was concerned about his speed but I didn't expect it to be this bad.
