The 2025 Draft Thread

I think the answer will ultimately rely on how good Coleman becomes. After a solid start to the season and a really good starting debut against the Giants, I think he has suffered some rookie problems. If he figures the position out then losing Paul is irrelevant especially if Coleman is good and Sinnott emerges. So far though, Sinnott has not been able to supplant Ertz or Bates and Coleman's story is in its "too early to tell" phase.
Coleman has been excellent. Far exceeds expectations. We need to address RT this offseason and dump Wylie and could use some more depth, but otherwise our OL is night and day from last year. Outside of RT, I don't see us addressing OL until late day 3.

The draft was loaded with OL talent. We wont know for certain who works out the est an worst for another year or two. Fingers crossed from all of us on Coleman.

Regarding OT's early, I was a big on Fashanu and Latham in the mid first as well as Fuaga as G with T potential.

Down the line the ones I liked but feels like they all went a little early were Suamataia, Paul, and Puni

We really need to hit on an OLman in the 2025 draft

I was huge on Latham. And was commenting on how he might end up the best OL in the draft. Still to be determined though

Wylie isn't too expensive. He splits time at RT for the season, or maybe starts as a rookie gets acclimated. Worst case (for him), rookie outshines immediately and then Wylie becomes a premier backup RT/OG. Depth ain't bad to have. I don't think we need to cut him especially with all the cap room we have.

He's a FA. We'd have to resign him.

think the 7.5 million is better used to sign extensions for Fowler or Chin. OT's are hard to get in FA. I am thinking OT in the first 3 rounds. CB in FA- I need to check out edge in FA.

I’d like to see us land a good G/C option. Have them battle it out with Allegretti and win or lose we up our G/C depth (C in particular could use insurance). Also, Biadasz and Allegretti will both have 2 years left, so development time for a future starter there. Not saying it has to be an early pick, to be clear.

I think that's a position we can address on day three of the draft and groom. I love our 3 IOL starters.

It would be nice to see Zach Martin play for us one last year though.

Demarcus Lawrence has been projected to us in many unreliable sources. If we signed him and Reed. We could go OT, WR and G/C in the draft. I wonder about the DL and the Allen situation

C is locked down for the next 4 years. Biadasz has been unbelievable. And has completely changed the interior of our OL. Been playing dinged up too.

I think we have to resign Bobby Wagner for one more year. Early in the season he was getting killed in coverage. But the guy has been unbelievable the past 4 weeks.

Restructure Allen, Sign Lawrence, extend Armstrong and/or Ferrel and throw some late picks at the spot if nobody is there to draft and our DL is stacked.

Extend Chinn, Sign Ward and our secondary is stacked and we can still draft the position whenever.

I'd be good with that.

Bolton might hit FA and I was a huge fan of his in the draft. He's been really good in the NFL. Very solid in coverage.

I liked him too but not to your level. He was one of those guys that was great fun to watch in college. He was all over the field, had patience and great anticipation and vision. There were some including Steve who were very down on him due to his size. He still plays like that in the pros, fun to watch and very productive.

Speaking of Steve McQueen (Going Commando) any sightings of him post ES? Good draft thread contributor and study of the game.
