So when will the Redskins Logo get back on the helmet and playing field?

I think the reality is that Washington has used the old logo recently. If I recall when they did the tribute to Darrell Green the logo was plainly displayed and oft used. It is part of our history, a part of our beloved history and we shouldn't avoid it. Even if you consider it controversial or defamatory (it's not imo) you shouldn't. After all, whitewashing history doesn't improve the present.

So while people are getting excited about this, I fear it's much ado about nothing.
 
I totally agree.

I just find it somewhat humorous that social media and some second-rate ‘journalists’ are running with a week old news clip that really reported nothing concrete and are extrapolating that the logo is returning to the helmets, the field, and that the old name is coming back.
 
We live in a click bait world where the highest form of art is getting people riled up :(
 
Unfortunately, the average social media user doesn't take the time to distinguish between legit sources and nonsense. If you want to have tens of thousands of followers, just put 'NFL' somewhere in your name and post unfounded rumors.

Not sure if this will play here, but this is the Darrell Green suite in Northwest Stadium. Obviously, 100% official. Lots of Redskins logo everywhere.

I think what the Wetzels and Daines were getting at is that a private suite that almost no one sees is different than merchandise that's made available to the public.
