So when will the Redskins Logo get back on the helmet and playing field?

The Senator and I clearly have different interpretations of the word.

Talks between the two factions that doesn’t also include the NFL is suspect, at best, as to any way forward in the way that these recent articles want to champion. The logo being returned to the helmet, to the uniform, at mid-field, or even a return to the Redskins name will never happen without the league being onboard.

Now maybe, just maybe, those conversations with the NFL have already been or are currently taking place. But color me a very burgundy & gold suspicious. Especially that no known NFL reporters have breathed a word of that.

Yes, I am aware of that. Creating an honorific memorial within the stadium and stopping the ridiculous white-washing of the logo on photos, videos, etc is one thing. Permission to use the logo on the helmets, the field, and allowing a return to the old name is an entirely different thing.

To accomplish that they will exaggerate, distort, and pretend the goal was something totally different than previously expressed. They’ve even been known to lie. I’m sure Daines got something from the team. I seriously doubt it’s what some fans are suggesting.
