Snyder Approaches BOA on Prospective ‘Team Sale’

ST to answer your question my disdain for Bezos is political to an extent plus other reasons just on a business nature. Same with the Lerner family.

Now back to topic, it's all early news, I don't have high hopes at this point as it could fade away, Snyder isn't going to sell unless he gets a Clippers like deal which was over market value imo. The other thing is what if we end up like the Jags or Panthers, yeah new owner same shitty product.

The U.S. attorney's office in the Eastern District of Virginia has opened a criminal investigation into allegations that the Commanders engaged in financial improprieties, sources confirmed to ESPN.

Here a link to the news Mike just shared

HAHAHA just realized they used the old 'incorrect' crest

I wonder if Snyder did this thinking the silent majority of Redskns fans would rally to his side and show the owners and everyone else how deep his real support was?

If so, he may hav just self-sabotaged himself out of the league.

I wonder if beating the Colts was part the reason Snyder is selling. Mr. Irsay super mad we didn't tank against the Colts.

We can thank Heiny and Terry for saving the franchise.;):p

Ah, just saw the announcement of the investigation. It’s too late to get ahead of that, Dan.

It's never too late. He'll sell the team and he out before he can be prosecuted. He's already just flat out not shown up when subpoenaed.

Well, selling the team won't stop a criminal investigation into past business practices. It will help him with his legal bills though.

When have we ever seen a billionaire convicted of anything?

"fully cooperated" That's a good one.

I’ve always been taught that you treat women with the utmost respect. These days some call that old fashioned or even sexist, I don’t care. I still believe you treat women with more respect than men. But after Tonya attacked the accusers last year, all bets are off. She didn’t just stand by her man as they say, she went after them. She showed no respect to the victims who have been harmed. So yeah, while I may not have done that had I been there, I would have laughed just like I did when the story came out it happened.

If this was the final straw, good for the fans for doing what was necessary. It’s terrible that Dan threw her out in front thinking it would somehow make him look better. In the end though, it’s just another woman he used to try and get what he wanted. She should know better, but she’s also part of the problem.

Had to think about it for a sec for sure, but .Michael Milken & Allen Stanford that I can recall. I suppose they're the exceptions that prove the rule though.

I also recall that Stanford got sentenced to over 100 years for running a heavy Ponzi scheme ... so there's that.

Madoff maybe, too.

I think the moral of that story might be that even billionaires go down when they get caught fucking with other people's money.

Snyder is being investigated for financial improprieties ...

Those are extremes and messed with hundreds of people. I honestly don't think anything happens here even though it should.

Right now it’s just an investigation but a lot of the impetus for nailing Snyder disappears the minute he’s no longer the owner. That’s why we are here today.

I get the impression that the only difference between Dan and Tanya is biological.

Well maybe that and having less of a stomach for being universally reviled (which I guess is still biological). 😉

Is bezos any better?

I'm not overly familiar with his business practices except he's a billionaire, too.
