My son, when he was in elementary school, had a ‘girlfriend’ named Crystal Devine. 😎

I'm enjoying some of the things here that ES didn't have. Also enjoying some of the new faces/posts. Still trying to get used to the navigation, finding threads, following conversations, etc. But I miss some of the ol' ES posters who haven't made their way over here.
OTOH, while I think it's nice to provide shelter for all who want it. Bigger is not always better. Everyone is welcome, but everyone need not applyThat's the nice thing about having full technical control of your own website, vs. a corporation that doesn't care or have any interest in updating their own site - we have been able to do whatever we wanted to do here. I've had a couple folks reach out to me regarding how to 'get the word out' to former ESers who haven't found the place. I really have no idea - unless folks have a way to contact them on other social media sites. I have tried to promote this place on all of the major social media outlets, but some of them view us as competition and have been less than friendly about it. We do advertise on the Al Galdi Podcast, so maybe your all's favorites will eventually find us.

Sounds like a stripper name.

I'll be enjoying one for dinner tonight. Also eat a good hamburger at least 4-5 days a week.
I can totally relate. I try not to let things bother me anymore. Be the change that you want to see in the world.I’m sick of the me first world. Everyone thinks they are special and deserving. I really wish we didn’t have political leaders or billionaires pitting us against each other. I’ve travelled quite a bit and only ever had two issues which weren’t major. Everywhere I’ve been people have been kind to my wife and I.
I really wish the world would make space for everyone in it and not constantly telling us who to hate. I’m just sick of it. I find myself staying home more and I’ve skipped a couple of concerts recently because of it, which is unusual for me.
I know it’s expecting too much for everyone to get along, have compassion for one another, and think about others outside of themselves. When I was a kid, I thought when I grew up the world would get more peaceful. I was wrong.
I am in a suburb of Miami and I can relate. But you need to admit it's better than being in 10° weather. Try to see the glass half fullIt's not all it's cracked up to be. SW Fl sucks this time of the year due to all the tourists. Roads over crowded, lines for every place to eat, stores are a zoo. Nice weather, but we look forward to Easter, when they all go back north.

I understand where your commin from. For me, 30+ years of excessive heat and humidity is more than I care to deal with. You can always put on clothing to stay warm, but you can only take off so much clothing to stay cool before they arrest you. Very different on your side of the state weather wise.I am in a suburb of Miami and I can relate. But you need to admit it's better than being in 10° weather. Try to see the glass half full![]()
