Happy hour starts in 5 minutes
From the files of, " I bought it, now what do I do with it." Picked up a vintage plumbers furnace at a flea market last weekend. So, I did a thing.... not completely finished, but close. Progress photos and a video on my Facebook page.

Just for general info, I turn the Rotating Image Banner off during game chats. Having both a large chat and the images rotating at the same time puts a strain on the server and causes issues in the game chat.
 
I’m sick of the me first world. Everyone thinks they are special and deserving. I really wish we didn’t have political leaders or billionaires pitting us against each other. I’ve travelled quite a bit and only ever had two issues which weren’t major. Everywhere I’ve been people have been kind to my wife and I.

I really wish the world would make space for everyone in it and not constantly telling us who to hate. I’m just sick of it. I find myself staying home more and I’ve skipped a couple of concerts recently because of it, which is unusual for me.

I know it’s expecting too much for everyone to get along, have compassion for one another, and think about others outside of themselves. When I was a kid, I thought when I grew up the world would get more peaceful. I was wrong.
 
I want to give some well deserved credit to the city of New Orleans and it’s citizens, the Saints organization, and the Saints fans who were friendly and amiable for my entire existence there last week. New Orleans did themselves proud.

In comparison to Seattle and Philadelphia…well…there simply is no comparison.

The Superdome experience itself was top notch in every conceivable way. That place is very, very ready for the upcoming Superbowl.
 
The Family Dollar store about a mile from my house (that's been totally re-organized recently) is closing down.
Everything in the place is 30% off. :yikes:

It's not all it's cracked up to be. SW Fl sucks this time of the year due to all the tourists. Roads over crowded, lines for every place to eat, stores are a zoo. Nice weather, but we look forward to Easter, when they all go back north.
 
We bought a 1900 beat up farmhouse 23 years ago, when I had more energy. It's been a ton of work, one of the things that kept getting pushed back was the kitchen. The dark cabinets look like the before pics on HGTV. I am finally getting off my ass and dealing with this, we've hired a painter whose name is Candy Kaine. I sure hope we don't end up with red and white stripes.
