The 1st Round Pick
These are my two dogs macwindu and mr spock
It started on Friday. I was walking into a grocery store when I felt a tingling sensation in the upper, outer chest near the shoulder. A numbness and tingling sensation then progressed through my entire left arm and leg and could best be described as what it feels like when your foot or hand falls asleep. I had to very quickly sit down so that I didn’t fall. It lasted for about 1 minute or so until it passed and then I felt perfectly normal and completed my shopping. Initially I thought it was possibly a heart event. Now I am experiencing 6-8 of what I am calling ‘episodes’ per day. Some while standing and walking, some while simply sitting or lying on a couch. Last evening I had two (the last two of the day) that had the added bonus of the same sensation in my lower lip.Damn brother - that sucks. What kinds of symptoms are you experiencing (if you are comfortable sharing)? MS is usually pretty easily diagnosed by MRI and some other tests.
I had one dog, before he passed my wife got another -and he lived 4 more years with his new friend. We now have two, and Ill never be with out a dog as long as I live, even if it hurts like hell when they pass , The years of great out weigh the awful day they leave us.Thank you all. It felt worse because we put her down. She had lymphoma that was now hurting her breathing by closing her throat off.
We had someone come to the home so she wouldn't pass on a cold table surrounded by people she didn't know. I sat there with her for hours before knowing her time of death and it was really painful.
But, she is at peace now. Before they euthanized her they sedated her. She went from struggling to breathe to slow easy breaths and just laid her head down. I am grateful we got that at least.
I'll never forget her. She was an angel to us. I also highly doubt I get another dog again. It's the best part of ownership countered by the very worst.
Well hell, that's not good. I'll keep ya in my prayersIn about a week I have gone from the picture of health to having early symptoms of MS. Either that or I’m having a series of mini strokes, but the symptoms don’t really line up with TIAs. The GP I saw yesterday was puzzled after conducting a series of diagnostic tests. He has referred me to a neurologist.

Good to hear...Thank, Pete! Things seem to be mostly figured out now. A couple of really good neurologists have intervened and have gotten me to a pretty good place. My worst fears are seemingly now resolved.
