watched it the other day...crazy to see his mentality as its such a stark contrast to what we expect from NFL players.
 
Regardless of who you are rooting for, the refs at the end of this KC game are garbage
 
Probably the former, but it's really not going to matter. That offense is really, really good. Our defense is really, really bad. With five games to go, that team is gathering momentum toward a possible title. With four games to go, ours is looking more and more like they don't belong on the same field. I think San Fran could score 40 on cruise control against us at this point.
 
When you brought Shanahan here, with his rising-star son as OC, you have to recognize that you have put yourself in a situation where you could set your franchise up for success for the next 20 years. I don't care if the owner felt Mike Shanahan was an arrogant prick (he probably was), whether Mike did a marginal job during his time as HC in DC, etc... none of that matters.

Anyone with a brain realizes in that situation that Kyle Shanahan is a future elite HC and you do everything in your power to transition the HC reigns in DC from his dad to him. One has to believe that was actually the plan when Mike Shanahan signed his contract.

Instead, our braintrust not only allows (and facilitates) open warfare between our HC, his son, and our diva QB, they side with the QB.

The stupidity, ineptitude, and willful arrogance that drove that chain of events was astounding even by Dan Snyder standards.

So the Chiefs got some of the same treatment as Washington did with that offsides call last night.

Given how ballistic they went: head coach, star QB you can tell just how differently teams are treated in the NFL. Their minds were honestly blown that a call went against them. Now, imagine in Toney asked the ref if he was lined properly, got the thumb’s up and then a FU flag.
 
And it’s not like it was borderline - he was obviously past the line of scrimmage. I’m surprised Mahomes didn’t catch that and move him back.
 
Nice response here from Mahomes. While some sort of apology always seems to appear after these sorts of things, it's rare that a player or coach admits that the refs got it correct on the field, in the moment.

Might also be about trying to avoid a fine. And Andy, that player was a good foot over the line, no an ‘inch or two’, lol…
 
Watching the Chargers tonight, I feel for their fans. We've been there and had to endure this type of beat down as the lone game of the night.
 
The Chargers are doing their best to make the Raiders look like the Dolphins.

Currently 0-48 following a trick play resulting in an Addams TD.
 
I think what you see when watching the Chargers or the Commanders is what it looks like when a team believing. I don't think either team's results reflects the talent of their squad. It may not even reflect the scheme. I think these are teams half-hearting it and games played or coached with half a heart are uncompetitive. We see it here when players and coaches go through the motions. Some are still trying to win or be great, but overall, the effort isn't there on the mental or physical side.

They know it's over. That's how they're playing.
