thanks, that is critical informationDerek Carr with a possibly fractured left hand and also a potential concussion.
Probably not at least until game eight next yearAt what point in time is it appropriate to voice concern about Johnny Newton? Last week he recorded good eggs across the stat line. I understand he is a rookie but even a rookie DT should be showing something by now.
That's the thing, he DID flash in one game and that was a while ago. So that tells me he is healthy and as it's now December 9 I'm not sure we can still use the loss of an offseason as a reason given how he looked in that one game. But it has only been one game, in the others he has been invisible.Probably not at least until game eight next year
Newton did have one game where he dominated. The mitigating factor with him is not only is he a rookie playing on two surgically repaired feet (is he 100%?), but because of his injuries he missed the entire offseason and so may just be getting into preseason shape now. All those missed reps, missed cardio, missed practices with his teammates to get on the same page matter. So, there are many reasons not to judge Newton yet.
Still, would love to see the bulb flash more often and see the talent pop.

When will the game time vs ATL be announced? TBD for now...
