I’ve said it before, but Dan Snyder is going to need that money. I think there are all kinds of lawsuits coming his way once the sale is done and he’s officially on the street. Settlements and lawyers are expensive.

It's so subjective, was it Buges, was it the players said "f it" let's just dominate. Probably both but who made who scenarios are a conundrum. Did Brady make Belichick, or vice versa, difficult question.

In less than 3 weeks, our franchise will be rid forever of the scourge known as Daniel Snyder.

I really hope Howell is as good as we are all praying he is. This feels just like Jason Campbell and others we have all gotten so excited for and letdown by.

I can see that! I think another good comparison is Patrick Ramsey. Coming out of Tulane he had the records and the arm strength and I for one thought we landed our QB....(not)...I think the year on the bench watching and learning will pay huge dividends for Howell

We are a fanbase desperate to find a QB - finally - there is no doubt about that. Other than a handful of guys over the years like Trent Green, Cousins, RG3 for a brief moment, we haven’t had a QB prospect with top tier NFL arm talent, instincts, and athletic ability. We’ve had a ton of JAGs including Ramsey and Campbell, or former good players who were well past their prime.

Howell I believe has all 3. He literally may be the most physically talented QB we’ve had in 30 years. Of course, that is just an opinion based on his college career and a single NFL game. All we can do is watch and hope he is the guy some of us believe he is.

Like I said, I hope you are all right. The expectations and wishes just feel eerily similar is all. The kid has had one game against the backups for the cowbums and a bunch of practices so far. So, while I'm rooting for him, I'm very cautious.

I think we all get the ‘show me’ and ‘I’ll buy in once I’ve seen him actually do it’ mindset. That’s how it should be.

The flip side of that is that it’s not fair to saddle Howell with the fact we’ve had a ton of inept QBs over the years. It has nothing to do with him.

Bottom line, he’ll either prove he’s an NFL starter or he won’t. All fanbase’s obsessively hope the next QB up is ‘the one’.

I get the sentiment overall but Howell’s one start was not against backups, it was against their starters. Granted those starters appeared to be unmotivated.

Finding a winning QB in Washington has been as difficult as determining just who brought cocaine into the WH.
