If your referring to going for it on 4th instead of a fg. That would've been a 53 yard attempt against the win, that's a damned if you damned if you don't moment imo.

Yes, kicking the FG. Maher has a big leg. 53 yards is nothing for him. Maybe the wind was a factor, who knows. But my comment was more about McCarthy almost always making the decision that doesn’t work out. Perhaps you are right and kicking doesn’t work out either. But I took joy in watching him make another decision that ended in a loss. Especially after he walked into the stadium dressed like Vince Lombardi. Quite the arrogant move to then come in there and remind the fans why they grew tired of your coaching style.
 
I don’t know if it’s because of the Vikes’loss or the BOA news, but next season is already more difficult interesting than this season.
 
McCarthy gets less with more.

He had Aaron Rodgers for 10 years and could never seem to make the one or two tweaks to get this team over the hump.

His calls in crunch time were questionable numerous times.

In Dallas remember when players last year were saying McCarthy was slow to install his systems and that guys were standing around as the coaching staff seemed disorganized and unprepared to start camp?

This guy is picking up a paycheck, nothing more.

Dallas is a team with some good young talent at a number of key positions and should be doing better on a consistent basis.

Slye kicked some really bomb field goals last night. 58 and 55 are not our normal ones we can depend on and he put them both right down the pipe.
 
So glad they didn't make TH4 do a cringe shirtless white-guy dance.

No matter what happens down the road, truth is that man has become part of Redskins WFT Commanders lore.
 
So many thoughts and feeling this morning.

I would never have imagined that this football team could ever again get the emotion, the passion, the downright joy out of me that they provided last night. So good for my soul.

This very well could be a defining moment for this team and for my psyche. Those men turned back the clock for me, even if only for one night.
 
Chase Young is active. I expect him to get playing time against Houston

They got a couple "Yeahs!" out of me yesterday. They may have been the first since Jacksonville. The hike over the head and throw out of bounds, the Hurts bomb and fumble, and the pass to Samuels that got called back on a sketchy offensive PI call stood out. It was a fun game. I wonder if the players felt freed by the news that Snyder might sell, too.

Not sure if serious about that list bit, but I can't imagine that the players have loved playing under the Snyder cloud.
 
Another thought. Has Cosmi been benched? I know Lucas was playing right tackle, but there was a play where the announcers called Cosmi's name.
 
I thought cosmi was in all game?

I was pretty nervous and pacing a lot so I very well be mistaken.

Or 5 days from Scott Turner going full Scott Turner again. My only hope is Ron threatened to fire his rudy poo candy ass if he didn't run the ball.
