That's crazy. I know they are playing well, but neither of them seem like league-leading type players?

PFF (as you know) doesn't use outcome of the play as a metric.... it's about how they did their job. If a player is perfectly covered and makes an elite play resulting in a long reception, the DB isn't necessarily 'docked' because they did what they should.

Yeah - good point. I just don't know how accurate/reliable PFF rankings really are...

it's a metric... GENERALLY the best players in the league have high PFF grades because they generally 'do their job'

It's obviously not the end all be all, but I don't think it's a coincidence that the defense has improved as Curl has come back, and Forrest has had his snap count increase. Forrest missed the majority of last year, so he's still only about 10 games into being a starter...

Something that just jumped off the page at me to relate to an earlier conversation, look at the avg points in the first 5 games vs the last 5. Record difference being 4 - 1 vs 1 - 4

Well, I suppose if you look at it as them still being 'on the clock' - I get it. Can you imagine if one of our key players had a DUI after that post-Eagles video? And of course, DUIs are inherently a terrible thing.

I think that's what it comes down to. They are technically still working. Then once they get back to the facility, they have to drive home. I get the part about them being adults, but the league doesn't want the responsibility of teams providing alcohol or allowing players to drink and drive. I'm not actually ripping the NFL for this. I think it's the wise decision by a corporation. You can't always regulate what someone does, but you can also make sure you are not creating that atmosphere.

Having said that, I'm pretty sure that drinking on the team flight home has been part of the flight home since they started flying to games. The players probably don't even think about it, which is why they just posted videos on social media.
