QB carousels always end up with big wins and a happy locker room!!

It’s not really a carousel. Wentz got hurt so the backup went in. When Wentz is healthy he’ll be back in there as starter. I guess my point is, it’s not like they are going back and forth based on performance.

On the dumpster fire - yeah, I got nothin…
 
Going from one to two back to one is just that IMO. Wentz has zero chemistry with the team and didn't do anything that anyone else couldn't do. Halfway through the season and we just let our current starter he's pretty much on notice to get benched regardless of how he plays.

I'm not a fan of it. It also makes me think that we are probably not getting rid of Wentz at the end of the season...

I mean it’s kind of a wash. Both are moxie QBs. Still even though Josh as a bigger cap hit I’d take him off their hands.

No one thinks either guy is a worthy starter… not sure what you are arguing. We have to play someone.

Has anyone done the math on how many more snaps/games Wentz can play before triggering the 2nd- vs 3rd-round pick comp to Indy?

hard to do the math when we don't have the final number

If the team runs the exact same number of plays every game, 70% is 11.9, so roughly 12 games.

Obviously if he only misses 4 due to the injury, and is able come back next week, and finish the year, he will have played in 13... but it's all dependent on how many snaps are actually executed throughout the game.

Right now we've run 592 plays in the 9 games we've played, which is an average of 65.7 plays per game. Extrapolate that out at 66 plays per game x 17 games is 1,122.

Going through ESPN it looks like... (sorry I nerded out a little bit and built this) I'll do my best to update it as the season goes along

EDIT: I REALLY nerded out. This is ALL based on averages though... so a ton of snaps vs Philly could change things, but as long as I update it, it'll continue to evolve.

I hate the Cowboys.

Sickened by their success while this team looks like a monkey humpin a football on offense.

Ok...Packers/Cowboys....help me out?

Last kickoff in regulation.....the ball hits just inside the goal line then rolls into the field of play.
The Cowboy picks it up and steps back into the endzone but they call it a touchback.

How in the hell?

As soon as it hits in the end zone, it's supposed to be a touchback if no one touches it. I don't remember the exact play, but if you let it go into the endzone with no effort made to catch it, it's a touchback. One of the new "safety" rules.
