Just observing how many fans are seemingly afraid to expect more success.
If I thought the team, owner, coaches, players, etc.. were not trying to win everything, all the time, I'd stop watching. Like I did the Orioles.
And yes, I expect them to. Always.
Fans? I only wish they would.
Expecting them to do all they can to win every game is a given. It is not exclusive of understanding the reality that this team is still a ways away talent wise. Not winning more games this year than last is not necessarily an indictment that the team is not moving in the right direction. It's ok to understand that and exercise patience with the plan McL has in place. You can expect them to win the Super Bowl, but I'm not wrapping myself up in unrealistic expectations that only lead to higher levels of disappointment. I expected that of the Gibbs I teams because they earned it. I think McL can get this team back to that, and I'm willing to be patient while he executes his plan.
